We stayed for only 1 night as passing through, but wish we had stayed longer. This is an exceptional small hotel, with an outstanding restaurant. We stayed in the superior rooms with a view of the valley and out to Etna from our balcony. The rooms are modern and well proportioned, with lovely artisan toiletries. The pool is relatively new and extensive pool area has a bar, which also caters for snacks through the day. The restaurant is modern with a new terrace, which only opened this year. It was lovely to eat dinner al fresco in the middle of the countryside enjoying what was in effect a Michelin star quality meal. The food was amazing! Breakfast also very good, many options, not a buffet - all a la carte. Spa opening soon too! A lovely place, an oasis in the middle of nowhere with an amazing restaurant! Thank you Nello and team!

From the moment we arrived we could not help noticing the attention to detail in the design, construction and execution of everything this hotel delivers. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The grounds are immaculate. The staff are unobtrusively attentive. The food - particularly at dinner - is very, very good. We loved it.

Lovely family run country hotel. Amazing staff - particular shout out to Julia, Luciano and Luca for taking such good care of us!! Amazing fine dining, delicious sicilian wines and dito service. Rooms were large and very clean; pool and garden were awesome. Very friendly Italian owner, who is very attentive of his guests. Lots of farm animals around, to add to the country vibe.

Perfect for couples’ escape. Stunning location away from the crowds - priceless view to Etna. Awesome pool. Gourmet food. Modern, clean and well maintained all over. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Stayed in one of two Deluxe Bungalows for 4 nights. The hotel is pool area and dining area is newly renovated and the bungalows newly built. Stunning view from the bungalows and dining area. 100% worth spending a little extra for a bungalow with private pool (recommend asking for the lower of the two). The 3-star rating doesn't do the hotel justice. 100% recommend staying here if you travel around in Sicily.

Spent 3 nights at this agroturismo resort and we highly recommend it. It is located in a beautiful rural area and the views are breathtaking! We stayed at Room 22 and it was quite spacious and the views were stunning. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was always fresh and very tasty. We left the resort quite early in the morning and the staff offered us a packed breakfast. The food at the restaurant is delicious but the prices are a little bit on the high side.

We had a fantastic stay here, two standard double rooms for 6 nights. The rooms and bathrooms are super clean and spacious, the pool area was lovely and the views of the countryside are spectacular. The food is exceptional, lots of options for breakfast, we enjoyed the delicious fresh fruit, pancakes and pastries, the coffee was really great too. Lunch by the pool and dinner in the restaurant was amazing. The staff were so welcoming every day of our stay, they really went above and beyond for us, the kindest staff we’ve ever met. Do not hesitate to book Rocca dei Saranceni, we can’t recommend it enough.

A nice hotel with friendly staff and lovely views. The breakfast is good and you can order fresh juices, eggs, etc… dinner is top level and the wine cellar has a large choice of Sicilian wines. The hotel is normally quiet, we had some noisy Germans unfortunately. It’s a nice heaven between busy cities, but you should come here especially for the good food in the restaurant
