Tour guide and owner Jason Hall shared questionable off-side material that made myself and my family very uncomfortable during the tour. As we needed to be 'let out' of the venue by Mr. Hall we were forced to listen to comments that went against everything we stand for morally, as well as statements that were personally hateful towards our family, and family history.

By far one of the coolest exhibits I have ever seen! I wish I had the opportunity to check it out again. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. Everything was so authentic-there wasn’t a boring moment. Enough can’t be said about the artifacts and the castle as a whole, truly incredible!

You must book online. The owner is the actual host, and since he lives there, all tours must be prearranged. The inside is stunning and he has recreated the atmosphere that would have existed in the past. Truly a labour of love as he has meticulously collected artifacts from the past.

Went for the tour only and we were a little hesitant as the price was $50 per person, however, in the end, well worth it. Jason, the owner, was very informative, even though we had a “lady” from Qu’Appelle who thought she knew more than him and was a bit snippy with him..it’s his tour lady! The history of the building is mind blowing and, if you have the $$$$ you can even stay there. The rooms are authentic but have modern conveniences, incl washer & dryer. Beautiful location

My sister with the red Tommy Hilfiger shirt. She took the pic of the ******* painting that’s supposed to give off negative energy. The very last pic was outside the castle and you will see the whole lettering and such is non existent. This was a weird encounter and we noticed this after we left and scrolling through the pics. Ghost playing or posing in the pic in front of her??? We will never know but cool anyways.

We had already done an evening tour and returned a couple years later for afternoon one and enjoyed each at least as much as the other. The castle is impressive and the furnishings are beautiful throughout- so much to see. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and does a great job of sharing educational history while keeping it entertaining and engaging.
