Thank you very much to the staff as they went out of their way to accommodate my family. It was a surprise for my husband's birthday that the family arrived unexpectedly and the staff made it happen. The food fed everyone of us including the 10month baby very well. The rooms had glorious views the rooster awoke us at just the right time. It is a quiet place but if you have children the swimming pool is a good place to start, then games we all played in the evening sorted us all out,we mix as a family.Walking to find the sea took a while as the shops had everything you needed or not and had to be checked out.The bus rides we took were adventurous, completely different from the UK. We met alot of lovely people that combined with the wonderful weather, it rained warm rain on a couple of days, you just go under the pool shelter where its dry until the warm rain stopped ,then back out to the pool it wasn't that long out of the water. So thank you for making a wonderful holiday for us.

We’ve just got back from the Anavadia (9th to 16th July). ‘Family holiday’ - couple and two sons - 21 years. Room - we booked two rooms. They were both very clean and sheets/towels cleaned/changed daily. Food - plenty of it and good. Breakfasts I especially enjoyed. Salads are fresh and tasty. Drinks - also good and plenty of them. Variety of cocktails and beer is cold in frozen glasses. Paper cups by the pool. Pool - we stayed around the pool at the front of the hotel. Very chilled atmosphere, no bother getting sun beds. Only slight issue is that the pool area could do with a bit of a clean and some parasols needed fixing. People - the staff are amazing. They couldn’t do enough for you. Only exception was the night receptionist who checked us in (4am) Didn’t tell us anything about the hotel and was a bit grumpy. However, the receptionist on the last day couldn’t do enough to find us a room (we had a very late flight back to Newcastle) despite the fact that they’d had internet issues and electric problems that morning (out of their control) Very professional. Area - a good base to explore - we took a bus to Rhodes Town for €4 from just outside the hotel. Lads hired mopeds for €20 a day to explore. Overall - we loved it.

Wow!! I’d read poor reviews from last year but start of this year some good ones about new management…. So we arrived and 🙈 I checked out after 12 hours, 8 of which were sleeping (sort of in the hardest bed in the world)! Breakfast was absolutely disgusting, hotel filthy, I wouldn’t have used the pool if I was paid to. Decor questionable to say the least, toilet areas were foul, lunch time pizza oven never materialised by the pool just some dry looking sandwiches! Just don’t go would be my advice unless you like those sorts of poor standards, four star, nowhere near

Stayed here with my sister and 2 nephews in August 2023. We booked it as a last minute birthday trip for my sister. We stayed for 4 nights and booked through love holidays for i think £405 each for all inclusive. The hotel was situated in a very quiet area, there were some shops and the closest beach was a pebble beach. The food wasn’t great but for the price I wasn’t expecting it to be. Dessert and drink options were lovely on the plus side. The pool areas and bars were great too and all staff were lovely! The room was a decent size but we had issues with wildlife getting in which wasn’t pleasant. Didn’t like the bathroom either. Overall I think you get what you pay for with this hotel and i wouldn’t return again.

We are currently staying here at the Anavadia Hotel; me and my partner was both that impressed, that we decided to write this review before we even left! We arrived at the Anavadia Hotel early yesterday morning at 12:10am and we was greeted very warmly by three members of staff. After we filled in all of our documents, the lovely receptionist informed us that they had already plated us up some dinner as they knew we would be hungry after travelling. A lovely gentleman then guided us to a small table next to the outdoor pool, where we sat and had a bite to eat and a cold glass of lemonade before bed. The same gentleman then escorted us up to our hotel room where we had a plate of fresh fruit presented to us and ice cold bottles of water waiting for us in the fridge. This hotel is set in the most beautiful location with the most stunning views of the mountains. Waking up in the morning with the view from our balcony is truly breathtaking. When we came down for breakfast yesterday morning, George (The hotel manager) introduced himself to us and told us that if we needed anything at all, to let him know. He was so attentive & couldn’t do enough for us. His happy persona was enough to lift any spirits. - This has continued throughout our stay. There is a brilliant variety of food which is great, with many different options from traditional Greek, pasta & Bolognese, a salad bar with the most beautiful feta & a good range of ice creams. There is definitely something for everyone! There is a great selection of drinks available and the barmen John and Pathos are very talented and would cater to your every need! Directly opposite the Anavadia hotel there is also a company that rent out mopeds, quad bikes and buggys at a reasonable cost. We did take a short walk to the beach last night which took us roughly 10/15 minutes. On the beach there is a company that offer Jet ski rental, paragliding and banana boats etc. Please do NOT read any of these previous negative reviews as we did. The Anavadia has recently changed ownership and we couldn’t say anything negative towards this hotel at all. Overall, The Anavadia Hotel itself is spotless and very well ran. So a huge thank you to George and his incredible team who have (and continue) to make our first holiday together so amazing. We have no complaints at all & we would truly recommend this hotel to anyone. We look forward to our return.

Sun********** is a scamming organization,if you see this anywhere delete it immediately, they scammed me and I started an investigation with my bank, they then contacted me asking I stop the investigation and they would then provide me my money back, claiming they couldn’t send a refund till the investigation was closed, I showed my bank and they said no that is not true, they could send a refund to my credit card or e-transfer. I replied to sunhotels and told them what my bank said and I never heard from them again

Nice hotel. Comfortable room, food good (for buffet which can get a little monotonous). Great choice of all inclusive drinks till 11pm. Used Kolymbia as a base as the bus stop is virtually opposite the hotel. Went to the north of the island (Rhodes Town) and right to the southern most point (Prasonisi) as well as Lindos. Lovely island and good location for travel.

My husband and I with 3 children have recently returned and what a lovely hotel! The hotel is situated in the most stunning location with Mountain View’s. The food is ok, a little repetitive but was fine for us. The staff tho are the main benefit here! Absolutely amazing group of staff especially young George from the bar. He’s the sort of barman that a hotel needs, SO funny, great customer service and a real proper barman that can make drinks off menu to your taste once he gets to know you. He’s also great with children that are a little hard work like my little boy hahaha. Pamos is also a great barman and George the restaurant manager is very good for this place. There was a situation one night and George sorted it straight away with no problems. If the staff are here next year we will definitely be back, my little boy already wants to come back to see George the barman.
