I went to the hotel Mediterráneo over 25 years ago and it still looks the same! By American standards this is like a motel nothing special about the hotel itself do you have a room and a main hallway That’s it ! I was there to visit family so it provided us what we needed which was a clean bed to sleep in for the time that we were there… However I would not recommend especially if you like air conditioning I know Europe has this thing against air-conditioning but they kept insisting there was AC on … end it certainly did not feel like it! 25 years later there are much nicer places to stay in Roccella Ionica … most of the action is down at the other end of the beach … there was a great restaurant on the beach though and I would highly recommend it!

Ci sono stata l’altro ieri con la mia famiglia, si trova esattamente vicino al centro, posizione meravigliosa, personale gentile, camera pulita e letto comodissimo, una bella vista, ci tornerò sicuramente!!! Ho allegato qui sotto una foto con la vista

Ottimo hotel, tutto ben tenuto, appare recentemente rinnovato, funzionante ed efficiente. Personale molto cordiale. Molto vicino alla spiaggia e a negozi e stazione ferroviaria. Decisamente da consigliare.

hotel comodo e posizione fantastica al centro di Roccella. Ottima la pulizia, camere semplici e confortevoli. Colazione eccezionale: abbondante e con vasta scelta tra dolce e salato. Personale davvero gentile e simpatico. Torneremo sicuramente! consigliatissimo!

Invitati da amici abbiamo soggiornato presso l'hotel Mediterraneo . Personale all'accoglienza gentile e disponibile. Camera fresca e pulita. Tavolo buffet, ricco e abbondante compresa frutta e con ottime torte fatte in casa dalla gentile sig Rina. Molto gentile il personale . Situato in centro di Roccella, con alle spalle il castello medievale e a 2 passi dal lungomare , spiaggia di sabbia fine e chiara con lidi attrezzati e libera . Perciò più che CONSIGLIATO .

Sono cliente, ci vado ogni volta che mi trovo in Calabria anche se e' distante dalle mie destinazioni, ottimo in tutto dalla zona relax all'ingresso, la profumazione in ogni angolo della struttura, pulizia, colazione, riguardo il personale e il direttore molto soddisfatto per disponibilità, cordialita, gentilezza, professionalità. Eccellente qualità/prezzo, dalle camere normali alla suite che ha bottiglia e panorama (perfetta per le coppie). Da tornarci presto.

Una notte a metà febbraio. Stanza grande ma vuota, vista piazza. Chiedo un’altra coperta perché il letto ed il materasso mi sembrano freddi, mi portano una sovraccoperta in cotone. Non ribatto, non ha senso. Letto comodo ma non caldo (appunto). Bagno pulito ma piccolissimo soprattutto in relazione alla stanza ed alle persone che eventualmente possono dormirci. Una volta seduti sul water, con le ginocchia si tocca il vetro della doccia. Colazione buona, forse superiore alle attese considerato il periodo ed il numero dei clienti dell’albergo. Parcheggio disponibile nelle vie adiacenti anche se penso che in estate non sia così semplice. Tornerei senza alcun problema magari con una coperta in più!

Hotel in posizione centrale, a due passi dal bel lungomare di Roccella Jonica, bella e ben tenuta cittadina della Costa dei Gelsomini. Abbiamo avuto una stanza al quinto piano, con una fantastica vista mare. Frigo bar con consumazioni gratuite, bottiglia di vino inclusa come welcome drink. Camera super, colazione eccellente. Straconsigliato!

Punti di pregio: la posizione, al centro di Roccella, vicino al mare, alla stazione fs, a bar pizzeria/rosticceria, alimentari, pasticceria e farmacia. Ottima la colazione, con ampia scelta dal dolce al salato, alla frutta e la professionalità dei camerieri. Punti da migliorare: gli infissi della camera, si sente lo schiamazzo notturno del traffico e non solo; il frigo ai piedi del letto limita il passaggio, oltre al rumore (prima di staccarlo); il bagno è piccolo per una coppia, per una sola persona può andare, il piatto della doccia ai bordi presentava della ruggine. Da un **** mi aspetterei molto ma molto di più. Si può certamente migliorare, anche se dalle foto vi è una certa discrepanza con la realtà: Può essere che alcune camere siano state ristrutturate e qualcuna ancora è da ultimare? Non potendo dare una valutazione pari a 2,5 mi esprimo per eccesso, per la gentilezza riscontrata nel fare il check in mezz'ora prima dell'orario previsto. Alla prossima!
