Amazing stay at this hotel. Really love the ambience friendliness of staff facilities and amenities they provide. They have a swimming pool on the ground floor as well. But parking isn't free and we weren't told about this. So if you consider parking overnight you have different options.

Rooms were good sized as we booked for family of 4. Has a small kitchenette which is great. Toilet was stinky even upon check-in that smelled like public toilet. Very obvious that house keeping doesn't mop the floor. Worst hotel experience due to this. Not acceptable. Coffee is never replenished at all. There were also dishes left outside the room door from previous guests that was not clean. Location is good if you are going to grottes de han.

je trouve personnellement que le réceptionniste nous bien accueilli mais mais il y a un manque de communication.
Déjà pour les places de parking il ne sait pas ou nous guidé pour certains emplacement.
Je voulais aller dans votre restaurant et il me dit qu'il ne savait pas.
Nous avons du questionner pour la piscine et le petit déjeuner alors que c'est simple une petite explication quand le client arrive.
La réceptionniste au matin est très timide si je ne disait pas bonjour ???
Par contre l'endroit est très propre le petit déjeuner super avec le jeune homme très professionnel, bien accueilli, poli et
regarde si tous les plats sont plein.
Je vous souhaite une très bonne continuation en sachant que je conseillerai à mes connaissances et moi même d'aller chez vous .
Attention que ce n'est pas des critiques négatives mes des critiques positives pour améliorer votre charmant hôtel.

Mooi hotel met goede voorzieningen. Het restaurant serveert lekker eten, maar jammer genoeg viel de service tegen... het duurde een half uur voor we konden bestellen, het aperitief werd samen met het voorgerecht geserveerd, vuile borden niet afgeruimd... tussen voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht zat ook een uur wachttijd (terwijl het restaurant helemaal niet vol zat) en dan zijn we na serveren nog zelf bestek moeten gaan halen om geen koud eten te hebben.
Gelukkig was het personeel wel heel vriendelijk.

If it wasn't for a very minimal breakfast I'd rate this hotel higher, but the breakfast might come as a disappointment. It was hard for the team to cope with the fully booked property as utensils, coffee cups, clean plates were almost missing half an hour before closing.
The variety of hot meals was also very basic.
On the other hand it is absolutely fantastic for a hotel to have EV charging points in the garage. Thank you for that.

Nice hotel in the centre of Han sur Lesse, about 19 minutes walk from the caves / animal park complex. As the car park was already full we were told we should simply find a space on the street and move the car the next morning by 8am when street parking would be charged again.
The low point of our one night stay though was dinner: although food was nice the service was amongst the worst I have ever experienced. Two hours for a two-course dinner (starter and main), including being asked halfway through if we were ready for dessert when we had been waiting for an hour for our main course; then being given the wrong food. And not a word of apology for the chaos throughout, or even a glance from the staff. I’d like to think this was a one-off due to staff being (or looking) untrained but I would not be willing to try again

We had a nice familyroom with fridge, microwave and cooking posibility.
Nespresso and water.
Very nice.
First night on arrival the aircon didn't work.
Next morning we got a much better room and a working aircon.
Great service, thanks Mercure.

Beds were very comfy, pillows well you know, if it is not your own...
Area around the hotel is very beautyfull.
Breakfast is good.
Pool is very nice.
Last whole day we asked the staff to indicate the way to the biggest Carrefour to us.
We got a trip to France to see a nice town.
Again great service staff..

When we got back from our trip to France however.....
The room hadn't been cleaned.
Not very nice.
Wet towels lying on the floor, trashcan full. etc etc....
The staff, only one person, did a great job.
New towels, new toiletpaper, new coffee, free drinks (beer)
So what to say ?

The location is great is it is on a walking distance from the safari and the caves. The facilities are in good conditions. But the hotel lacks staff and the existing staff lack training. The breakfast was of good quality but the staff could not keep up with the number of guests. I would be cautious next time
