Rose Garden Palace Roma by Omnia Hotels

Via Veneto Rome|1.36km from Piazza di Pietra
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

The Hive Hotel

Termini Central Station Rome|1.43km from Piazza di Pietra
Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. Trevi Fountain Surrounding
The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Rome - ensuring you can enjoy all the history, sights, and Roman culture by walking the city. For example Trevi fountain was just a 5 minute stroll from the hotel. Despite this central location - effectively being on the main shopping road in Rome - the hotel was quiet with no noise at night . The rooms were of a good size and the bathroom very clean and modern. The choice of food at breakfast was good, although the breakfast room can get very busy early on. Just be careful of pick pocketers on the Metro-having being a victim was told by local Italians that this is a common occurrence. A wonderful hotel and would stay here again if visiting Rome,

We booked boldly Torre Caparanica despite quite a few of the TripAdvisor reviews, which we have thought were based on unusually unrealistic expectations, and we were not wrong. First the location- so central and so quiet at the same time, on Piazza Capranica, in the middle of the middle of Pantheon area of Rome! The room was spacious, greatly decorated, without even mentioning a superb masterpiece on the ceiling and the upper parts of the walls. The staff were extraordinary welcoming, friendly and helpful. everything worked like a charm, from airport transfer to the reception. As we were entering the building I was trying to figure out what were all those complaints in reviews that I had read about. The area is super safe, the entry to the building is quite grandiose, and the room that we stayed in was marvelous. And no, I do not think that the elevator is small in contrary, I though it just added to the feeling of cosiness of the entire building. All in all, a great experience, worth maximum rating!

Nice hotel perfectly situated between Via del Corso and Pantheon. A distinguished hotel with nice rooms and good beds. Nice straff and good cleaning. We liked the roof garden where we could eat our breakfast. The breakfast was rather simple, but ok. Missed some vegetables. You will feel very safe here because you have to pass several policemen on your way in. The plate in front of the parlament is closed to the public.
Hotel Caravita

Trevi Fountain Surrounding
The location is good, but the three-person suite is very pitted, it is an ordinary double room with a box spring bed. The price is also super expensive, the front desk service is general, after many trips to Rome, it is found that the price of this hotel is not very high. The hotel is a family-style renovation of several rooms, it is recommended that other travellers may wish to try other hotels. Breakfast is rarely chosen, and few things are optional. But there are usually free snacks, water, and energy, which is not bad.

Booked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews and it didn’t disappoint! The location was excellent- at most a 40 minute walk from the furthest attraction. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and the bath products they provide were great. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the cappuccinos and pastry. This hotel was a bit pricer but worth the money for the comfort and location. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to rome.
