The location of the hotel is near Hidirlik Hill. If you walk from the village center, it's far away and it's difficult to climb the hill, but instead you can see the village scenery right from the hostel, and you can go up from the Hill, five minutes walk, and you can see the view. Good. In the room we booked, we could see the scenery like the picture outside the window of the hostel, but in fact, this alone makes me think there is enough reason to recommend this hostel even if I take into account other shortcomings. Not all of the hotel staff, but there is a manager who is good at English, so it is not difficult to communicate. Other staff are friendly regardless of language communication. Using a house that has been preserved for over 150 years as a hostel was a very special and valuable experience for our family. However, it is inevitable that the facilities are old as it is an old house. I think this is a very good management, considering the history of this house, but the narrow bathroom was a real uncomfortable part.

I was here for 3 days last week, and I can easily say that this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Turkey. You know some things everyone looks in a hotel; cleanness, comfort, hospitality and safety. You have them all in this hotel. Although rooms in most hotels in Safranbolu are too small, the rooms in Safran City Hotel&Spa are big enough. Plus, It has a sauna, bathhouse and Spa. I really like that there is a nice cafe in the first floor so you can go down and hangout there instead of being stuck in the room. They also serve breakfast and dinner. What you get for the price is definitely worth it.

It’s interesting. The most unaccustomed thing is that the wash basin is too small. Others are good, it’s me. The cheapest hotel I've ever stayed in, it's worth it. The bus station is not far away, and the taxi is less than fifteen yuan.

What a lovely gem of a hotel. Three mansions surrounding a lovely garden have been lovingly restored and modernised. It's a bit hard to find despite being on the road to a huge mansion and the large police station, but that's part of Safranbolu! On street parking is fine, as is the otopark almost opposite. Great location. Be prepared for the hills and unevenly paved roads, though. Bring good walking footwear. Our room was eccentric. The ensuite is in a cupboard! And the hot water took a couple of decades to arrive, too. That ought to have dropped a star, but the rest was so much fun that it earned it back. The heating worked well, and we needed it. This year was unseasonably cold. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented as usual in Türkiye. All in all a great place to stay.

There’s a lot of accommodation to choose from in Safranbolu, and the overall standard seems to be pretty high, so it took a while to decide which place to book for a two night stay. As it turned out, we chose well. Akbulut Konak was wonderful. I like staying in places that are run by the people who own them; even better when they have a history and have been lovingly restored. The father and son team are great hosts, and incredibly proud of their house. There are so many nice touches around the place. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was quirky and characterful. Not a great deal of storage space, and pretty hot/bright (lots of windows and no air con), but it was befitting of the surroundings.

We have met with a clean and peaceful environment that destroys the pandemic holiday anxiety. We are very pleased with the sincere hospitality of the company's owner Mehmet Bey and his wife, the Cuban Lady. The prayers we received from the elders of the Mehmet Beyin family were the greatest gain we received when we returned to our house. Our room was perfectly comfortable to go straight to sleep with clean beds decorated very beautifully. Its breakfast makes you feel private and it was very nice to taste the local moons that the Cypriot Lady has prepared for them. Our four-year-old twins adopted the homes of Elif and Ömer, and they wanted to return to the home soon during our trip to Safranbolu. Çokta güzel bir bahçesi vardı kahvaltısı fazlasıyla yeterliydi. Ayrıca civarda gezilecek yerler konusunda da çok yardımcı oldular. Nurullah Bey ve Nurhan Hanım çok ilgiliydi. Kendi evimizde gibi hissettik. 3 gün konakladık ayrılırken bizim için sadece konaklama yaptığımız bir işletme değil buraya geldiğimizde uğrayacağımız bir kapımız oldular kendileriyle çok güzel bir bağ kurduk.. geldikçe kahve içmeye ziyaretlerine uğrayacağız. Huzurla geçireceğimiz bir tatile ihtiyacımız vardı fazlasıyla memnun kaldık. Herkese tereddüt duymadan tavsiye ederiz...

Great location. Be prepared for the hills and unevenly paved roads, though. Bring good walking footwear. Our room was eccentric. The ensuite is in a cupboard! And the hot water took a couple of decades to arrive, too. That ought to have dropped a star, but the rest was so much fun that it earned it back. The heating worked well, and we needed it. This year was unseasonably cold. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented as usual in Türkiye. All in all a great place to stay.

Kendi evimizde gibi hissettik. 3 gün konakladık ayrılırken bizim için sadece konaklama yaptığımız bir işletme değil buraya geldiğimizde uğrayacağımız bir kapımız oldular kendileriyle çok güzel bir bağ kurduk.. geldikçe kahve içmeye ziyaretlerine uğrayacağız. We stayed as a family of 4 people. We thought that the Cedir was enough for children but it was enough. A hotel in the center. We visited Safranbolu center without ever taking the car out of the hotel. I was surprised that there was no sweaters in the hotel. No TV rooms. But TV is in common area. It's hard to go by car on historic roads. At first we found the hotel difficult, then we went hard because historical roads are stone and tight.

The location of the hotel is near Hidirlik Hill. If you walk from the village center, it's far away and it's difficult to climb the hill, but instead you can see the village scenery right from the hostel, and you can go up from the Hill, five minutes walk, and you can see the view. In the room we booked, we could see the scenery like the picture outside the window of the hostel, but in fact, this alone makes me think there is enough reason to recommend this hostel even if I take into account other shortcomings. Not all of the hotel staff, but there is a manager who is good at English, so it is not difficult to communicate. Other staff are friendly regardless of language communication. Using a house that has been preserved for over 150 years as a hostel was a very special and valuable experience for our family. However, it is inevitable that the facilities are old as it is an old house. I think this is a very good management, considering the history of this house, but the narrow bathroom was a real uncomfortable part.
