Hampshire Hotel

Our weeks stay at the Hampshire was a very pleasant one. The hotel is located approx 10-15 minute walk from the bus station and all the central St Helier attractions. Our room was a very good size, and included a small wardrobe, dressing table and chair to relax in. The bathroom was also a good size, although the shower was a little hit and miss at times. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, polite and hard working, rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast could be busy at times and sometimes there was a small wait to clean tables. However there was always plenty of food items at the buffet. The bar area is located downstairs and is a nice area to relax and the prices are reasonable. The hotel has a pool at the back which looked good but we didn't get the chance to use it. Would definitely recommend as a great base to explore Jersey.

Very pleasant hotel.Nicely decorated throughout.Very clean.Lovely friendly staff.Breakfasts very good,evening meals outstanding.Will use this hotel again.Our first visit to this lovely island,will return.

Our room was small, the outlook was poor, the noise early morning was enough to wake the dead Shower pressure was very slow, bed uncomfortable, breakfast was ok, a tad disappointing for my first visit to Jersey

We stayed for a week in September and immediately on checking in we were upgraded to a larger room. Service was amazing. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We ate in the hotel 2 nights and were really surprised at the high quality of the food. Great location for walking into town. The only downside is that it's difficult to find. The sat nav takes you in the opposite direction on the road and we had to ring up to ask where it was. But that's the only negative we had.

Sorry to say stayed in many a nicer Hotel looking tired . To say my room was small is an understatement, bathroom very narrow and tight . Room was clean and tidy . The evening meal , Bread was like a rock pointed it out , it was taken away but didn’t replace it , my Ribeye steak was ordered Med rare. And turned up med + Had a nice bottle of Malbec with it . At the end of the day they were not expensive and you can say you get what you pay for
