This is a hotel that could use some up updating. It’s great to keep the original structure and pride that goes with all the history it contains but at least update the rooms to make them worth the money you pay.
Self Check in was great with keyless number pad on the door.
The bathroom needs work with simple old sink, no counter smelled of mold when turning on the water. The shower had little water pressure, light fixture rusty, and the bath fan seemed to be running but couldn’t do the job. They had nice coffee bar downstairs but no option for coffee in the room, nice clean refrigerator. The bed was hard but at least had air conditioning which worked great. The room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast in the dining room, Steel cut oatmeal was my favorite, bacon good too. I’ve stayed in a lot of B&B’s that were old Victorian historical homes, rooms classy and updated. I guess that is what I was expecting.
I would not stay there again.
