A gem boutique hotel in San Cristobal this place is amazing & beyond, great location walking distance to downtown,, sorrounded by trees make it so special,rooms are cozy,spacious & lovely, each one is different, they have AC & heat, bed linens are one of a kind, they also have a Restaurant El colibrí that serves delicious food & drinks definitely a must in San Cristobal! The entire time at Hacienda Valentino, we were treated like V.I.P.’s. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable, and our needs were satisfied. We recommend this unique hotel for anyone looking to enjoy San Cristobal de las Casas in a special way. Thank you Tim and Javi, and your friendly staff.

The hotel is nice and cozy with good rooms and a good restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and, during a cold week, they were just amazingly warm - at the right temperature. The staff is very kind and helpful at all times. I strongly recommend Casa Valentino.

This small intimate hotel is so welcoming! We felt right at home when we arrived. We were traveling with our sweet little dog and they made sure to have a dog bed, dog bowl and treats for her in the room when we checked in. The beds, pillows and bedding were all super comfy. The room had heat (very rare in San Cris) and the entire hotel has filtered water which is rare on all of Mexico! We live in the Riviera Maya and we're freezing so a room without heat would have been a struggle! The hacienda is so beautiful and fun to take pics we had a little foto shoot with my family! The food and drinks were amazing at the restaurant on site called El Colibrí! The portions are all very large so we shared each meal. The food was so delicious we had the chilequilles, on letter, biscuits and gravy and tacos and we re ordered each one because we really enjoyed the food...a lot haha. The hotel is 10 min walking distance to the park and main shopping areas. The walk ability of the hotel was perfect. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and cleaned our rooms while we were out daily. We loved the garden area and the whole ambiance of this charming location will be a hotel I bring a MTA Group Trip next year to explore and experience Chiapas! We loved it! Thank you for a wonderful experience and look forward to returning with my group!

Had a fantastic stay, hotel owners and staff made sure all of our needs were met they paid attention to detail, which made our stay special. Everything is really nice and clean. The restaurant colibri was delicious and staff is super nice! Thank you for making our stay amazing and for being a pet friendly hotel.

My wife and I spent 5 days at this new boutique hotel, and had a wonderful experience. The location is great, outside of the bustle of the centro, but only a 10 minute walk to the main part of town. The pedestrian only streets are full of shopping, bars, and restaurants. Grab a coffee or glass of wine and sit at one of the many outdoor tables, and partake in the vibe of the city and all the great people watching. We stayed in one of the rooms that are built around the cypress trees. There was a tree in the main part of the room, and also one in the shower. Such a unique element. The king size bed was comfortable, with high end bedding. The room has all the amenities you would expect from a high end hotel (large flat screen TV, toiletries, iron and board, coffee and coffee maker, bottled water, hair dryer, USB power outlets, alarm clock, safe, etc) The entire property is beautiful, with a lovely courtyard surrounded by huge cypress trees. The el Colibrí bar is fully stocked for any time of the day. Coffees and espresso drinks in the morning, afternoon cocktails, and evening wine. The cafe has a nice selection of breakfast dishes, sandwiches, tapas, and even full dinners. Wifi is strong throughout the property. Speedtest in our room showed 100 Mbps upload and download. The owners have truly created something special. And they’re lovely hosts. Super friendly, fun, and accommodating to any requests. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and tours of different places in Chiapas. Definitely take a tour to Sumidero canyon, and also to the town of Chamula. San Cristobal is such a great city to visit, and Hacienda Valentino is the perfect home base to explore the city. We will definitely return, and without a doubt, we will stay at HV again.
