A lovely hotel in Central San Diego. I really enjoyed staying here and the staff were extremely helpful and the bed was very comfy.

Good location…
I bought two nights with breakfast.., but the hotel does not offer breakfast..!
How can you sell a service.., if there is no service..??
Unreliable..!
The room is too small and cramped (Z king room).
At check out they were charging me double the amount (amenity fee)…, check your payment receipt..!
Only one elevator…
I definitely do not recommend it..!

The hotel location is close to famous tourist attractions in the downtown area, so it's great! A hotel with a very cute concept haha I think it was a business hotel with a very good value for money.
The room size was a bit small, and there was a smell that I couldn't tell if it was a cigarette smell or something, but it wasn't too uncomfortable and I got a good night's sleep (the bed was perfectly comfortable haha)
The downside is that there is no refrigerator.
They also lend bicycles for free, but I didn't borrow them because I was using public transportation.
Accommodation in San Diego is expensive, but I think it was good value for money!

I like Hotel Z for the most part. Our room was fairly clean except the free water bottle had coffee splatters all over and the toilet had some little particles in it. My other complaint is the bathroom sink was draining very slow.
The bed was comfy and cozy and clean and the room smelled nice. Unfortunately when we got there, **** was laying in the floor of the elevator stinking it up horribly, but was removed not too long after. The bikes were fun to use on Coronado island and the staff was very nice.
Lots of homeless around the area but there were a lot of food options! I recommend Chick’nCone! There was a cvs right next door which is convenient. Going back to San Diego I would probably stay in La Jolla area instead but for two adults, it was a decent stay. I wouldn’t bring young children to stay here just because of the area.

I chose this hotel for the location and value...with many attractions in walking distance, or easy to reach by public transportation. Had a great stay at Hotel Z, everyone was amazing and very helpful. The bedding was soo comfortable..best nights sleep!!

Was put in roon 426. near this room was "automatic washers and dryers to clean the linens. when I got to the room I called them and was told they would go off at 10pm, at 2am and 3am they were going again. I called to complain and was told. that they would move me (at 2am??) I get up at 6, so my sleep would have been about over. It is a cool hotel. But DON"T let them put you in the area of these washers and dryers.... so frustrating!
