Pet-friendly Hotels in San Feliu de Guixols

I booked this hotel as I did not want the usual bland high rise hotel on the beach road. But arrived at the hotel with very low expectations having read the past reviews. My experience is completely different. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the pool bar staff are very friendly & efficient it is open till midnight in the summer. The pool bar seating is new and good quality. There are a lot of sun beds around the pool, beach, & gardens. Check in was efficient. The sea view room is newly renovated and well maintained. The aircon is very powerful, brand new seating on the balcony, 5g fast Wi-Fi . It appears a lot of money has been spent renovating the hotel. There may be some rooms not yet renovated. The walk into town takes around 15 minutes and is a slight hill on the way back to the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel which is a little quirky (because it is built around the rocks) with great sea views and a laid back atmosphere I would recommend this hotel.

We loved the charm of this hotel in a perfect location just steps from the beach. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The cleanliness was irreproachable. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The restaurant offered a large and varied buffet which changed every day. The swimming pool is lovely but not child friendly as there is no shallow end. A car is a necessity to visit the surrounding areas. If I must say something negative then it would be the absence of a coffee machine in the room. A full length mirror would be welcome and a shelf under the bathroom basin is a necessity. Make sure to request a side sea facing room as there is a construction site just in front of the hotel and the view must surely be spoilt by this. Highly recommend. We will be returning.

Hotel very nice, clean with a lovely pool and staff very helpful and friendly, lovely hotel in a lovely place. Breakfast has lots of choice and a good standard. Grounds and the whole hotel very well kept. Only stayed for one night but would be more than happy to use the hotel again for a longer stay.
