An exterior corridor and colorful rooms and suites with individual PTAC Air Conditioning Units surround a heated pool that lies at the center of our outdoor scene. Hotel Del Sol was such a great find! Perfect home base for our San Francisco adventures. Love the courtyard, clean rooms, friendly staff and thoughtful market in the lobby. The neighborhood was lovely - walkable with bars and restaurants close by.

Just okay experience. Random impressions in no order. The motels in this area of the city are mostly old and somewhat rundown. The surrounding restaurants and shops are quite nice. Fairly clean and comfortable. Morning continental breakfast was adequate, certainly nothing special. Pool literally backs up to the street.

I would not recommend staying here. It is very run down and breakfast is subpar. Rusty nails in bedroom. Sink that doesn't drain well. Old old old. Only new thing is the paint and a firepit that didn't work. Pool isn't heated enough to actually enjoy. Parking is expensive --$50 a day and you aren't guaranteed a spot. The infinity hotel by hilton looks better and worth the added cost.

The staff were personable, helpful and friendly. The pool was warm and deep for my kids to dive into. The breakfast was ON POINT and it was fun to eat out in the courtyard. You're well located for some great restaurants, the marina area for views of the bridge, and a short walk (uphill!) to Lombard Street and a cable car ride downtown.

Had to wait an hour after check in so they could clean and prepare the room. Then after finally entering the room, the bathroom had urine on the floor around the toilet and unknown hair on the shower wall. Had good complimentary breakfast but was

Booked for 2 nights last week from Thursday 06/26/25 to Saturday 06/28/25.
The hotel (motel) didn’t have any microwave or small fridge to store or heat our food.
On Friday, 06/27/25, there were no hot water. They didn’t notify us.
I went down to talk to the front desk and they said that they would talk to ******* to confirm that I did cancel the 2nd night with a refund for the night on top of other fees.
No answering phone calls or returning emails.

This hotel is amazing. Marina district. Close walk to Golden Gate Bridge. Driving distance to all you want to see in San Francisco.
