You must choose this hotel if you want being bugged
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. As there is a connection door inside the room, the sound proof is really really bad, we can clearly hear the conversation from the adjacent room. The family who lived adjacent slept late and got up very early, the child kept shouting and this woke me and my husband up.
After that, we reached the reception and requested to have a room change, but the female reception staff refused. She said there was no other available rooms with the same price, she said we needed to PAY BY OURSELVES to upgrade another room style. I said it is not acceptable because it is your hotel's problem, if the hotel has a good sound proof wall, we would not hear sound from the adjacent room, but the female staff insisted this was the customer’ problem, not the hotel's problem and would not change any room for us. And at last she proposed to change our room with an upgrade fee €80. It is so radicular that the staff refused to give any help to us and just only asked us to pay more. As a result, we were woken up by the adjacent sound at 7:12am on the first day and 6:49am on the second day , the adults kept talking, the child kept shouting and running, and we could not sleep anymore. It was a very bad experience and we are very disappointed. We recommend everyone NOT to choose this hotel.

Very good entertainment for young children with lovely rooms and pools as well as play areas. My child also loved the shows (as well the a la carte restaurant, this is limited based on how many days you are staying).
The let downs are the food, drink and overall service which are very average. There is no effort to impress you and as we had recently been to an Ikos resort this paled in comparison.

Beautiful hotel in every aspect, from the reception area to the terraces, bars, restaurants, pool areas & the Junior Suite I stayed in was extremely spacious and comfortable. Only slight downside was my suite had an adjoining door to the next room & I was very aware of the guests in there as I could hear everything.

Wayyy overpriced. Each room has a shared room door meaning you can hear your neighbours. Was left next too a crying baby for a week. Cleaners im the morning aggressively dragging furniture at 9am. Have to move out of the way of all working staff who will barge past you. Dance music none stop at all pools even overlaping with other music from different speakers.

Our stay was beautiful. The staffs were very friendly and polite. All the amenities were clean and looked after.
The food and drinks were good and yes the drinks don’t stop flowing. There’s always something to eat 24/7. So if you are a foodie or love your dessert and drinks, you won’t regret your stay.
The swimming pools are amazing and if you want to stay fit while not using their gym, no problem because they have lovely foot path by the sea so you can explore and it’s safe.
Our room overlooked the ocean and what a beautiful sight. So much activities to do especially for families.
As a couple, we had so much fun. Exploring the resort and the city itself. Rented a car so it was easier but you don’t need to because there is so much to do in the resort.
We felt so relaxed and refreshed at the end of our stay and sadly had to say bye for now but definitely will visit again.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this resort and our stay there with our toddler. It was the perfect family holiday destination with lots of activities for kids as well as various pools and splash pads so we couldn't have asked better in that regard. We would definitely go back here again.
That said, this definitely isn't a 5 star resort. I wouldn't even consider it to the be best Bahia Principe I've stayed at in terms of service and food quality even though it was by far the most expensive. I'd even go as far as saying the service was terrible at times. There were meals at the buffet where we didn't even get offered a drink the whole meal. Despite all that, it didn't really impact our vacation as this wasn't why we picked the resort but I can certainly understand why some people would be upset if that's why they chose this particular resort. So, if you're looking for a 5 star vacation, this is not the resort for you. But if you're looking for a good family resort with lots of activities, this is a great choice!

The property was nice. It’s definitely not ALL inclusive. Fresh squeezed OJ in the morning is extra. All the free alcohol tastes like water. The beer is not good. The Buffett is the Buffett. First day is good probably because you are hungry from traveling.
The pool is very nice. The activities are not that great. The rooms have AC but don’t get that cool. The lowest temperature setting is 18°C and our room never got colder than 22°C.
There are 3 restaurants on the grounds. Italian, Japanese and Steak. We were most excited for the steak restaurant but extremely disappointed. The steak was extremely under seasoned and even though we asked for medium the steak was over cooked. Japanese was ok and Italian was good but I had my meal taken back because it tasted like I was eating salt.
Also there are cockroaches is the lobby bar.
