Amazing hot springs in Tuscany! The spa offers outstanding services and amenities. We booked the day spa and it was so special. Food offered during day spa was delicous. Hot spring pools are perfect. Wish I would have booked two days! Very close to Pienza.

The Adler is a very good hotel by Italian standards. Of course that doesn’t mean much, given the dreadful state of the profession in the country. Service is not a given, and great experiences are rare. The Adler does well by domesticating a large contingent of workers and getting them to deliver, most of the time. The refurbished rooms are very nice, but avoid the older, dated, ones. The restaurant is alright but serves mostly industrial fare. In good old fashioned Italian style, « half board » will be forced upon you. Its not clear how this bundled offer is still legal, but Italy has never enforced rules that protect consumers. So your stuck with mostly readymade canteen food served by old fashioned waiters in smart monkey uniforms. Room service is available, and very fast and diligent. The wine list is rather longer than good. Mostly average stuff, not very well picked out. You can still find a few gem in here and the prices are soft. Of course everyone comes for the spa, especially the upper Italian bourgeoisie with a Porsche Macan or Audi diesel in the garage. On the whole the experience is nice and the business is very well run. Cracks appear beneath the veneer of organisation very soon though. Most importantly, not all practitioners are very good. Some are trained chiropractors, others mere cosmeticians. The difference in their work is huge, but you won’t know who you get before your session. And the prices are the same. At 100€ or so a pop, its all a bit hit and miss if you are used to big city standards. The spa area and pool are nice, making the whole experience worthwhile. All together a nice stay, but remember you are not in the land of flawless execution and superb service, so this is a rather good choice

Located in Tuscany, the Adler spa is a great way to spend a day rejuvenating and relaxing. The thermal pools and facilities are first class and the massage therapy was one of the best. While we were just visiting for the day, they also have a full lodge for overnight and extended stays. I highly recommend visiting if spas and therapeutic treatments are of interest to you. Pricing was what you expect from the type of facility and spa offerings but worth the $!

I was happy that my mother from Arizona could experience this wonderful hotel, she loves Tuscany and came back after 35 years in occasion of her 90th birthday. She is a world traveller and truly loved everything, from the spacious comfy room with the gorgeous view of the valley to the immense SPA and the excellent food. This place is simply a dream and you can feel that the whole staff is very dedicated.

The resort is in a remote location which for us was difficult to find as we arrived at night time. However the experience was amazing. The facility is in perfect condition and targets for pure relaxation. They have a plethora of steam rooms and saunas and thermal waters as part of the resort and all access is included. The GYM is very complete and they have free classes such as TRX and stretching and yoga. The breakfast is excellent and diversified. The walking trails are lovely and scenic. Parking is included. This is an amazing resort worth the drive.

If you are foodie - don't hesitate to book a stay here because you will NOT be disappointed. The cuisine is AMAZING and the choices are MORE than ample - both at breakfast AND dinner. EVERYTHING about the food is EXCEPTIONAL - from the quality to the presentation to the abundance. Word of caution - make sure you tell the staff on the first night you arrive that you do not want to be rushed...this place is for DINING, not EATING. Additionally, the massages and spa treatments I received were excellent but this is only because I specifically insisted, in advance of my arrival AND AGAIN on arrival, that I wanted deep tissue massages. This later point is why the location only gets an "Average" rating. Service levels at a resort of this caliber should be exceptional and/or near perfect. Unfortunately, they are not. Upon arrival, I was immediately asked to pay for my entire stay up front. This seemed EXTREMELY odd because I was a guest at the sister property in Ortisei last year and this was not the case. I don't know whether this was because the woman at the reception saw that I had my Passport and credit card already handy (in spite of all of this information having already been provided upon booking) or if this is a new policy of the resort. Again, at checkout when it came time to pay for the extras I enjoyed while at the resort, the woman at the reception seemed reluctant to allow me to redeem credits from my loyalty account and it was not until insisted that she do so that she actually realized I was well informed about the availability of those points toward my stay. Upon checking in to the room, the typical bathrobe and slippers were missing. The robe and slippers are ESSENTIAL items for this resort. How does this happen? In fact, the resort specifically mentions that you should feel free to enjoy breakfast and lunch in them while observing a more elegant attire for dinner. Knowing that I had booked a massage for 9 am the morning after my arrival, I immediately notified the front desk that these items were missing. I'm not sure that did any good because they were not sent to my room and I had to request them, AGAIN, the following morning. Other than this oversight, I must compliment the housekeeping staff as the room was always well maintained and they were very discreet. Lastly, and because it is critical to enjoying the entire experience, I can not stress enough the importance of informing your server that you DO NOT WANT TO BE RUSHED at dinner. My first night, I was seated in a section with a server who seemed more interested in getting his section cleared than with allowing the guests to actually enjoy their food. This was, frankly, disappointing given that the resort prides itself on being a "wellness" retreat and that any medical/gastrointestinal professional (particularly one with Ayurvedic knowledge) will advise that dining should be done SLOWLY, taking time to chew and savor the food you are consuming as opposed to just shovin

We booked this as a two night pit stop during our Tuscany honeymoon and it was everything we wanted. Highlights included: - a complimentary bottle of fizz, cake, rose petals in the room to celebrate our honeymoon, very unexpected but a great way to start our stay - we really enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail in the bar to piano being played - the food and service were brilliant, especially the desert options - spa facilities are some of the best we’ve encountered especially the saunas - we slept really well in comfortable rooms For Brits visiting, despite all the signs saying you should remove all swim wear before entering steam room and sauna not sure I saw anyone who did, everyone just wraps a towel around themselves. It’s worth visiting the surrounding areas. A great stay.

The moto of this hotel is ‘let your soul fly free’. It summarises the experience. Vibrant, beautiful, memorable and unique. Incredible food and wine. My cheekbones were thoroughly tested by smiling all the time.
