Santa Cruz Cabins

Juliet and husband are the most fantastic hosts!! They want to do everything for you 🌺🌺🌺. The breakfast is really nice at your own balcony. I forgot my bank card at atm machine and they offered to drive there to check. We really loved the place !

Stay here! The owner operators are two of the kindest most genuine people we’ve met while traveling. From the time we arrived to when we left they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The cabins and the property are beautiful and well maintained. The location was a perfect home base for golfing, visiting ruins, kayaking, horseback riding and exploring Belize's Wild West. I cannot say enough good about Juliette, Raphael and their family.

I don't think you could find better host. When we arrived we were "clients". When we left, we felt like family. You have to try their breakfest. The sauce was amazing. Hibiscus tea was refreshing. Thank you very much!!!

The chalets are set amongst beautiful tropic rainforest gardens. It is very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are well maintained and clean, tidy and spacious. Juliet was amazing and put many lovely touches that made our stay such as water refills, traditional breakfast and providing details of good taxi drivers. The walk to San Ignacio is about 30 minutes and the driveway steep so if this isn’t for you be prepared to take taxis. Highly recommend staying. Also loved meeting some of the rescue dogs.

We loved our stay at Santa Cruz Cabins. Juliet and Tony are wonderful hosts and they provided such great information about the local area. We went to the zoo based on their information and it was really cool and a great stop on the way back to Belize City. The breakfasts cannot be beat! The juices, eggs, baked goods and everything else were delicious and it was so pleasant eating out on the porch. We also enjoyed how quiet it was after a busy day of tourist events - ATM cave, Caracol ruins, the Saturday market, Ajaw chocolate and great restaurants! We hope to come back some day.

We stayed here in early December 2022.  We loved our stay.  The cabin was clean and had a beautiful view.  We saw a variety of birds and this included a pair of toucans.  We loved sitting in the hammock and enjoying noises, sights and overall relaxation that the cabin provided.  The hosts, Juliet and Rafael, were extremely generous and we loved talking with them to learn about the culture and local attractions.  They were incredibly resourceful and helped in planning a few local excursions.  We opted for the homemade Belizian breakfast every morning as it was convenient and we loved that they messaged us the night before with what it would include.  We were never disappointed and it was the perfect size.  It was an additional cost, but worth every cent.  Every morning they would arrive with the fresh made breakfast and they shared information about the ingredients.  This included what they harvested right from their backyard and how they helped the locals.   We would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the area.  They are incredible hosts and you will definitely love everything about this stay including the 5 rescue dogs that like to come greet you in the morning.  Can't say enough about this wonderful place, hope we get the opportunity to visit here again.  I am so glad that we decided to go  local rather than a big resort.  Juliet said when you stay here, you become family and that was definitely apparent throughout our stay.   NOTE- you need a 4 wheel drive to get to the cabins which only added to the adventure and feel of this great place.  

We had an amazing time at the Santa Cruz cabins! Our hosts were so kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and get Juliette’s breakfast. Fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start your day.

Tony and Juliette are wonderful host. My wife and i only stayed 2 nights, but we wish we would have stayed longer. Great breakfast too.
