The location of this hotel is really convenient. When there is nothing to do on the weekends, I go around. There are many restaurants to choose from. I ate a Japanese restaurant and the dishes are basically localized. The owner created a new drink because it is pink. It’s also rare that the boss tried hard to talk to me in English and recommended it. I tried it and it tasted really good. There is a carrefour about 5 or 600 meters away. I remembered that my local colleagues recommended local milk to me, so I bought some local milk and fruits. It’s very fresh; the hotel’s breakfast menu is a little bit more, but the ingredients are what I value most. In addition, one day I worked overtime and returned late. I was so hungry that I tried this eight-catch fish in the hotel restaurant. I don’t know what to do in the alleys. When I ask questions in the circle of friends, everyone’s brains are open...

I am from the US, this was my first business trip to São Paulo, and I am very glad I chose this hotel. The location is great, the views are great, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast Buffett was AMAZING! So many options like fresh fruit, fresh juice, and many many other options including Brazilian food I will not try to spell. I have executive status with Marriott; the executive lounge happy hour is exceptional with the complimentary cocktails and at typically 4+ options for Brazilian appetizers. My room was so spacious, including a stocked refrigerator in case I run out of water or feel like a beer. The room was exceptionally clean/tidy each day, and the staff, specifically Denise, was so thoughtful in tidying up my room. I kept forgetting my power adapter when I left for the day so I wrote a reminder note on the desk “bring power adapter”, so I could remember it when I walked out of the door. When I came back I found a new adapter for me to use so I wouldn’t forget to bring my other one to the office each day. Totally unnecessary, but such a thoughtful gesture I truly appreciated!!! Denise truly was the difference between a good stay and a great stay!

From all the hotels I have ever stayed in Brazil this the Gran Estamplaza is by far the best one. The excellency of the staff, the admirable beauty of the infrastructure, all the services offered,and then breathtaking tall glass ceiling ballroom style restaurant, accompanied by the most delightful live piano presentation (graciously delivered by leonardo Ramos pianist) are some of the things that make the experience unique and memorable. Impossible not to fall in love with this hotel. It’s sophisticated,comfortable, stunningly beautiful, gastronomically inclined fitting to most dietitian restrictions… Can’t wait to return next week. For now on when I go to SP I am only staying there. 😍

My recent stay at the Hyatt was horribly unpleasant. The driving factor for my complaint is the fact that I am currently opening an investigation for the robbery of $2.5K dollars in cash (which the hotel is well-aware of) from a passport holder inside of a backpack which never left the hotel upon my arrival from the airport. I submitted a claim and complaint for this issue on 9/10/22 in the morning (around 11AM) and it took the hotel a good part of the day (until 5PM) to call me back to address the serious issue. This was after I took many steps to alert them of my concerns: (1) I called them directly, (2) I was sent to submit a complaint to a Whatsapp Lost&Found number where I never received an answer, (3) I wrote an email describing the incident, and (4) I contacted a security team at my company Amazon, which spoke to the hotel and filed a civil police claim. Although you'd think this would be enough to ruin your hotel experience, there was more that took place during my stay which make me question the security of my belongings inside the room. To start off, when I checked in at around 12PM there was no room available, although I hoped that as a Hyatt Discoverist member I would have received priority treatment - I was deluded. Tired from a 15+ hour journey, I left the hotel and waited until 3PM for a promised email/call to let me know my room was ready, which never came. I then proceeded to call the hotel directly and was told that the room was ready, so I returned to the hotel to check-in. When I arrived, I was informed by the front desk that my room was not ready (jokes on me) and waited about 20-30 mins for a room to finally be assigned and my luggage returned. At last, I proceeded to my assigned room. Upon arrival, I opened my door to find another man inside working - who I startled and also told me he'd had the same issue during his own check-in process. You can imagine that if they are giving member guests incorrect key cards to enter rooms, this puts in question the overall safety and privacy of guests in the hotel. The next day, I ordered breakfast to my room which arrived cold, the eggs very badly made and bread dry - a subpar meal. Finally, days into my stay I was awoken at 1:30AM by very strange noises in the room next door behind my bed which seemed like banging of drawers and furniture being hit (I have recorded footage as evidence). Pros: Good location, good service when checking in/normal area, and good pressure/temperature control : Full charge ($12 dish, $55 breakfast, etc.), air-conditioning is a bit, medium/soft (personal choice, room) and, since my last stay here, things have been reduced. Overall: nice rooms, beautiful location and good structure and view of the swimming pool/college area, but I don't think they are 5 star hotels, they seem to be sold. I understand that for a two-person suite, there is no breakfast and 300 royals have to pay at most (see the comparison between Melia Pauls and Hilton Wattke).

This hotel was the first Wyndham in Brazil, and it is noticeable in the rooms and mainly in the bathroom, especially the shower could be a little better, and the liquid shampoos and sabbles could stop less. Breakfast is very good, it has good cost/benefit compared to other hotels in the region and, if you are in car, it has the advantage of being outside the rodízio area.

First we arrived, and we saw 1 disgruntled guest because there was one person in their accommodation. I thought it would be something punctual, however when checking in they gave us room 1404 where upon entering there was 1 backpack and 1 jacket from another guest. So there was also 1 guest in our accommodation, we called 3 times and nothing was resolved, finally we went down to the reception to solve the case, because well after about 1 hour we finally managed to enter a room where there was no one, we also noticed the presence of feces in the hygienic shower something that we didn't even point out at the moment because we would only stay 1 day and we were already quite dissatisfied. The experience was not at all pleasant, given that the name ”Bourbon” is synonymous with quality and organization. Unfortunately we went through this poor and mediocre experience. It is quite possible that we will choose another hotel on our next trip to São Paulo.

Value for money-because the front desk can speak English, I often ask the front desk for help. Photo 1 is the breakfast plate delivered to the room.
