Fuimos tres parejas de amigos al tour de cataratas. Nuestro vaqueno Joseph, el nieto del dueño, osea es un negocio familiar. Nos recibió fin Álvaro quien nos explicó y nos mostró la edificación de cuarto pisos de madera y como está se fue formando y se sigue todavía construyendo. Luego nos encaminamos a las cataratas. Por campo traviesa, una única subida, jaja que duró todo el camino. Realmente es una caminata sencilla de hora a hora y media, pero si por el clima muy pesada por el calor. La recompensa la deliciosa agua de la poza. De vuelta, un duchaso y nuestro gentil guía nos llevó a conocer la cabaña del árbol. De ensueño de verdad, ya estamos planeando una escapadita.

Ce fût une superbe expérience et je n'oublierai jamais ce moment !! L'accès déjà en soit est impressionnant mais rien de compliqué avec un 4X4. Ensuite nous avons été accueilli comme des rois grâce à Nick qui a répondu à la moindre de nos attentes. Le lieu est atypique et incomparable par rapport à un hôtel classique. Un conseil mangez sur place le soir et le matin car la cuisine est bonne. Rien à redire. Il y a un bar sur place et le domaine propose des activités en tout genre donc pas besoin forcément de bouger dans la région si vous souhaitez vous reposer. Quoi dire de plus à part que je ne regrette pas d'être allé là bas. La situation du Covid a beaucoup impacté le tourisme et Mirador Prendas en souffre. Alors si vous allez dans la région faites vivre les locaux et réservez ce lieu qui j'en suis sûr ne vous décevra pas. Encore Merci Nick !!!

Anfahrt über zwei Hängebrücken und eine gewundene Schotter-/Matschpiste. Der PKW sollte ausreichende Bodenfreiheit haben! Das Hotel liegt am Hang mit einem fantastischen Weitblick auf den Nordostebene Costa Ricas und die Vulkane im Südosten. Das Hotel ist komplett aus Holz gebaut, die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, etwas dunkel, aber sauber und mit liebevollen geschnitzten Applikationen versehen. Die warme Dusche funktionierte mehr schlecht als recht, was aber im Tropenklima nichts macht. Von der Veranda unseres Zimmers aus hatten wir einen wunderbaren Blick in den direkt angrenzenden Regenwald bzw. fühlten uns „mittendrin“, und sahen Papgeien, Affen und Schmetterlinge in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, das uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand, leckeres Essen zubereitete und uns von den selbst hergestellten alkoholischen Spezialitäten des Hauses kosten ließ. Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthaltsort und eine tolle Basis für Trips in den Dschungel und die Umgebung.
