This is the place to stay for short trips to dozens of nearby castles, picturesque villages and leisurely trips on the beautiful Dordogne river. It is convenient to Sarlat by car, bicycle or foot (maybe 20 minutes walk) yet quiet and peaceful. The restaurant is excellent as a choice for dinner, and staff (all English speaking) could not be more helpful. If you are fortunate enough to be served by Julie at the front desk, you will find her to be perfectly delightful. You cannot go wrong with this hotel!

Julie and Francoise were so welcoming and helpful. Could not be bettered. The bedroom was satisfactory even thought the en-suite was a little quirky. Dining outside was great. We were 1/2 board with a predetermined limited menu. No problem if you arrive early as there is a very nice swimming pool and lounge beds.

After 7 hours of driving arrived in the evening to be greeted by a French military style lady, unfriendly and cold. The next morning an English lady was far kinder however. Room was overlooking the parking lot. Pool small and no space to even use as so crowded. Dinner nice but what they call luxury is a far cry from what luxury really is. Our server was clumsy, nearly had knife and fork and sauce fall on my white jumpsuit. Can happen but happened to another table next to ours too. Shame. Looks nice on photos but room definitely needs a face-lift to reflect reality.

We were surprised there was no bar. There was some outside seating and a pool and you could get a drink if you found someone to ask. Internet was v poor. We fiddled with router in our room and imprived speed and band eidth a bit but it was still barely acceptable. We stayed 3 night and milk in room and toiletries were not resupplied. Room was fine, air con excellent. Restaurant was very good indeed and reasonably priced.

Unwelcoming welcome very cold military style. Not enough space for everyone to go for a swim so we didn't go. Room overlooking parking wasn't exactly pleasant. Decor too very 90s.

lovely hotel, with nice pool, good restaurant.
rooms are well fitted with tea and coffee and aircon
it is a little was out of town, but only a 5 mins drive.
It is a little hard to find the entrance but google take you to the door
