Ibis Paris Saint-Denis Stade Sud

Avoid this place. The entrance is like a prison. With security gates. If you’re a smoker, you have to keep moving out the way of other guests coming and going, because the walkway is so narrow. And the outdoor ashtray was always full. The area is awful. Which is probably why they have to buzz you in at night. The housekeeping is poor. I found hairs all over the bathroom, dust in the extractor and all over the room. Burns in the carpet. The mattress protector was 6 inches down from the top of the bed. No safe, refrigerator or kettle in the room. Bedroom door difficult to shut properly. Breakfast wasn’t great. First day, the only cooked food was some very unappealing sausages and boiled eggs. Doesn’t deserve its 3 stars and not worth more than £50 per night. I paid more than twice that. There isn’t even anywhere sensible for a taxi to drop you off or pick you up. Pay no attention to the happy looking pictures. This place is a miserable dump.

Attention to this hotel. I arrived late in the evening and I'm learned that I booked 2 nights. A booking passed on Friday and another on Saturday. The 2 are identical and at my name for the same night ... I'm indicating that I actually tried to book Friday but that the site was stopped by getting to the payment. I take my chance on Saturday and this time it works, I receive a confirmation mail. I'explain this situation to the person at the reception who says to me not worry. The next morning I presented myself to the reception again and a gentleman told me it is good that the problem is resolved. except that I have to pay my room. He assured me saying that it was an advance and that I was not debited. Otherwise he made me notice that I had no ticket. So I pay again. I take my frozen yacht crusting ice crystals with my dry butterless bread (it happens) and from now I go back to the reception to thank you for your understanding. Except that the manager arrives who tells me that I finally got well settled the 2 nights !!! With him what I explained was not honest, that I'll have to cancel the second time. He never wanted to hear only to cancel, yet I should have known that I had booked 2 times. Therefore, I was deliberately mentied to make sure that I was setting up the 2 rooms... And if there could be worse, when I dare to claim at my return, calmly by mail trying to make understand the absurdity and the fact that I've got a little difficult to digest the Manœuvre for it to succeed in obtaining the payment of €2 X 136, I have the answer that in doubt, when the site rejects, you must call for ”in case of cancellation” if the reservation is finally passed and even when you don't receive any email. That I was wrong, and to conclude (I just copy the sentence): ”The freedom of expression has its limits and your disgraceful words in my respect are not, nor worthy of the function you are, Not worthy of the company you are supposed to represent during your trips.” So at last, I am responsible for the technical problems of the Ibis site, I am lied and manipulated to recover the payment and to claim the whole if I'm daring to complain, we use the threat. This leads me to take this risk that I had not even thought of by putting my feet in this hotel and disgrace, I see rather a share of experience, a considerable loss of money, and a warning for future customers.

We arrived here very late at night due to a cancelled flight , we had no luggage no phone chargers not even a tooth brush . The chap on reception was amazing , he gave us a phone charger to use , he arranged our room , arranged our taxi to the airport for the next morning, and made sure we had coffee and a light breakfast before we left . He went above and beyond and is a credit to the hotel .

Rooms are smaller than small. Carpet on the floor is disgusting. Bathroom needs renovation. Air in rooms is very, very dry! ”Clean” is a word, noone knows in this building. Breakfast is ok, dont eat the scrambled ”eggs”. Check in was fast. They don´t speak English, except the Check-In-Lady.

The hotel is not close to the train station/subway station, only 1 bus line 143 connects to the nearest RER commuter station to Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris North/Lyon Railway Station, but ... The shift is extremely unstable (try to wait for 5-45min before there is a bus~), and 0030 has been the tail shift, in summer, Paris late sunset night D has not been able to catch the tail bus to walk 20-30min Kenjing Jilu back to the hotel, the hotel is located in the area has exceeded the Paris electric scooter / bicycle can be rented and returned, it is not recommended for passengers without driving

I was just there and tried to make a booking for tomorrow night. I’m staying nearby and have to extend, but my hotel is booked. When I first walked in, the young woman at the desk barely acknowledged me. She glanced up and barely said “yes? Then looked back down. Meanwhile both she and the older man working with her were super warm and friendly to the older white man who was in line right in front of me. I waited after he left and again, the woman went “yeah.” I waited. She finally stopped what she was doing, and mumbled “good evening,” I politely greeted her back, then asked about pricing. Long story short both employees were just rude and dismissive the whole interaction. The old guy told me to book online when I was standing right there. I said I’d like to just book there and he told me “well you’ll need an ID and bank card,” but he said it like he was saying I’d need a million dollars. It was weird. I almost went next door to get my stuff, but I changed my mind. Not sure if it was racism or what, but I’ve never seen hotel staff behave that way when a person is trying to give them business. They didn’t seem like they wanted me to stay there. I need a room for tomorrow night, but I will find another place to stay. Even if I have to pay much more, I’m not going back there. Employees like those ones make hotels lose money. They’re a liability. How can someone be working the night shift at a budget hotel in Bagnolet and snubbing potential guests? The audacity… Just be nice. It’s not that hard. On top of all that, the hotel is not in a good area at all. I’ve attached photos.
