"Positives: rooms were decent with main amenities provided. Beautiful beach location. Food was mainly good. Staff were friendly. Negatives: rats in some of the rooms, a snake outside one room, lots of stray dogs. Electricity cuts off a couple of times a day, water supply to some units was disrupted one day. The end result was to reduce the enjoyment that we had, which was not great. Read the reviews carefully and decide if this hotel is for you."

"The best place in all of Jelenga. Ultra peaceful hotel, deckchairs on the beach, the water at our feet, yet close to the main street. ZIDANE, IMAM, RIJAL and ADI are very attentive, they are extremely kind. A big thank you to them, I loved the place."

"Pros: The service was fantastic; the staff working there were super friendly and helpful. The view from the restaurant and the villa was absolutely beautiful! If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. The private pool at the villa was also wonderful. We booked a tour package that included a car and a driver. The driver, Mr. Bambang, was amazing! The man at the reception desk, Arif, was also very helpful and kind. Cons: The breakfast wasn't as extensive compared to other accommodations, but the quality was good. We did see a mouse or a rat run through the villa, but then again, you're in the middle of nature, so it can happen (the door was open at the time anyway)! Conclusion: We were very happy with our stay at Lobster Bay Resort and would definitely recommend staying there; it's truly delightful! 👍😁🥰"

"Friends, if you're planning to stay at this hotel, it's best to rent a car. The hotel is located in a local village, and the last kilometer of the road is unpaved and very bumpy. The location is genuinely inconvenient; you can't get a Grab here. We had to ask the hotel to arrange a car to the airport, which cost 300K for a one-way trip – almost double the price of a Grab. The hotel is near Kuta, but Kuta itself isn't very exciting unless you're going surfing. Grab always showed that it wasn't operating in the area. We later found out that taxis seem to have a monopoly here, making transportation very inconvenient. There's a beach about a 10-minute walk away, but it's a harbor beach with a lot of seaweed, not suitable for diving or collecting shells. It's fine for lying down and sunbathing, though. The hotel breakfast is very simple and seems perfect for vegetarians. We also had some lunch – vegetable soup and spring rolls – which is great for those on a diet but not really suited for the 'Chinese palate,' and quite expensive too. Despite these points, the hotel environment is very nice and looks just like the pictures, surrounded by greenery and very quiet. The bedding is also very comfortable."
