Le Chateau Bleu

When I arrived at the hotel I couldn’t find a door that was open so I knocked and still got no response. Finally I called and the owner told me to wait and he would be there in 15 minutes. I do not think my phone called him again as it did not show any signs of a call, but he called me back. He yelled, “I told you I’d be there in 15 minutes! Just wait.” I responded that I understood, that I hadn’t intended to call him, and I will wait. He is very rude! The hotel is very small. It is fairly clean. I’d say the one thing it has going for it is that almost everything is the same color blue, and it looks pretty good. The bed was very hard, and very uncomfortable. The bathroom is bigger and roomier than the bedroom, and I had trouble finding the light switch, (it’s in the hall by the bed). They bragged about the morning meal, but it starts very early and you have to get there early, and it’s very small. I would say overall this is a very unpleasant place to stay. I got very little sleep.

The room is very large, the decor is designed and everything is very well maintained and very clean (room and common parts). The room is ultra-equipped with almost all the options available in the best world stands (minibar, Nespresso machine with capsules, boiler, glasses of all kinds, fruit base, air conditioning, ceiling fan, The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city. Share breakfast menu via Whatsapp by the receptionist. Only defects: - the pool is a little small (but very pleasant) - No restaurant in the structure - the room gardens are not hidden (external light all night and sun from day-raising), but it is really a pity to have swallowed this elementary detail.

There is a marina next to the hotel, the rooms are clean and tidy, and room service is in place. Breakfast is a buffet. The type is the buffet of a general five-star international restaurant. It can only be said that there is no change.
L'Escale Resort Marina & Spa - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

L'Escale is a small hotel close to the airport and Victoria. Simon, a gentleman from Kenya working at the reception was the star of our stay. He understood well, was helpful, resourceful and not forgetful. The rest of the staff... quite the opposite. If even the lady running the spa cannot explain to you what the treatments are, if in the restaurant a full buffet breakfast gets served one day, that the next day is only half size and the following day gets completely forgotten (or considered too cumbersome to dish up), if after booking you need to confirm your arrival or transport time 4 times to 4 different people, you know you won't come back. We did come back, as we booked upfront twice for three nights at the beginning and end of our 5 weeks Seychelles stay, and we wouldn't do book here again. The location of the hotel is great, the setup is very nice, but the people working there make it a mission to be a guest. The guest is not the center of the attention - it is rather that the staff makes their problems yours by asking the same questions over and over again, or making promises that don't get delivered upon. On top of that the rooms are visually nice but technically a disaster. We stayed in both of their two bedroom pool villas. TVs either not turning off at all (Villa 1 lounge) or randomly turning on and off by itself (Villa 2), air cons resetting to default 19 degrees though we don't want air con, a light that didn't turn off until we removed the bulb, a telephone flashing to alert you to ”99+ messages”... what a mess. We encountered housekeeping staff cleaning floors/shower with unused towels, and we had turn down service ringing the door bell at 21.30h while we were in bed. Loose shower fittings... you get it all. Management clearly lacks. That Villa 2 is noisy because of the proximity to the vibrating water pumps is an added motivation to look elsewhere. The pros about this hotel are certainly the location, a good gym and yoga room and a very nice layout - and the possibility to moor your super yacht.

This is not a hotel but a fully equipped apartment. However, they are linked to Hotel La Roussette and the facilities are directly linked. You can also have breakfast and dinner there. Basically, the apartments are equipped with everything and are really very, very nice. All kitchen appliances, dishes, refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, TV, etc. Everything is in first class, even in brand new condition. Separate bedrooms with private bathroom, kitchen, common area. Extremely clean, everything is just great, I really can only recommend it! Really good. However, the part of the island in which the house is located is neither the center of the world nor the center of the island. Anse aux Pins beach is advertised in various travel guides as ”dream beach” and ”paradise”, but it is too thick compared to other beaches in the Seychelles. Nice beach. Yes. But not a ”dream”. The description of the surroundings is also often exaggerated. There is talk of ”all kinds of restaurants and shops.” There are two typical island merchants that offer everything from flour to potatoes to sabrue but nothing more. There you can find the essentials. Good bus connections to Victoria, halfway there is the airport. A golf course is in the immediate vicinity. It's really nice even if you don't play golf. The place is not particularly visited, you can also run or walk there. I would like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff at La Rousette. They are all really sweet, friendly and lighthearted. They get an ”excellent!” I was here many years ago (there were no apartments yet) at the hotel. The rooms are simpler, but also quite normal.
