Shanghai Yishe Garden Homestay

we primarily booked this b&b due to its proximity to pudong airport. shanghai was the last leg of our trip and our stay was brief, in and out of pudong. most people book this place for disneyland (it’s very close and free shuttle service is offered), but if you need somewhere close to pudong airport this is a great option too, just a 20 minute didi ride. as soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly by the host, who made us steaming bowls of wontons after a long and tiring travel day, which was greatly appreciated. just to note: our room rate includes daily breakfast for 8, and we are just a group of 3. dinner is not included in the room rate, so do not expect dinner to be a standard part of the service, as it depends on the host’s capacity. that said, the host did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including carrying all three of our very heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs, washing drying and folding my laundry, giving us a ride to and from the nearest subway station towards the city (11th line), and timing our breakfasts according to our schedule. my parents had a really good chat with her and she definitely went out of her way to make our stay as great as it was. the property itself is a three story house, and every part of it was sparkling clean, including the foyer, all of the public spaces and every room that we checked into. fully stocked with amenities and refreshed daily. all in all, highly recommend staying here whether you need a landing pad for the airport or are checking out disneyland.

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel near Shanghai Disneyland. The location is near Disney — just a short drive to the park, which made it easy to get there early and beat the crowds. The hotel also offered a shuttle service which was a huge plus. We had 6pax, and they can ferry us in a single trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, and they really tried to make sure we had a good experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. Overall, it was a great value for the price and a perfect base for a Disney trip. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area!
