I found nail clipping of previous guest on the carpet which suggested that the room was not vaccumed as part of cleaning process. Glasses in the drawer were very smudged and foggy - had to wash before using. I used a mug to make tea, next day the mug was not replaced but was put back next to the kettle with the paper lid replaced on it. The pool was not separated into sections or lanes so I was unable to use it due to many children taking up the entire space. Sauna was not working with no explanatory note as to why. Unfortunately smoking is allowed indoors and people were smoking in the breakfast dining hall. The room service food was low quality

建國酒店應該是韶山最好的酒店，離毛主席故居不遠，酒店門口就是國家電網的充電樁，很方便！晚上看張藝謀導演的《最憶韶山沖》，酒店定票的價格比**更加實惠，而且還有車來酒店接送！房間裝修很不錯，比較高檔，達到了這個價格該有的水準，早餐豐富，但是缺點是客房的裝修味道還是很重！

住的是主樓的房間。酒店地段好，離南站近，去韶山也不遠。酒店設施不錯，佈置也很有韻味。服務員都很友好，服務貼心，印象深刻的是李秀經理的熱情和周到。
餐廳的菜品好吃，價格也較實惠，特別是二樓餐廳。酒店配游泳池，可以滿足喜歡游泳的人在韶山附近住宿。樓下有禮品店，購物方便。
不足之處，酒店沒有洗衣機，這點還是保持傳統酒店的做法。也沒有洗衣袋可以裝臟衣服，但提供比較簡陋的塑料袋。

服務非常好，有衣服遺漏都是送到車站來，是我住過酒店最好的一次，對待長者特別友善，服務周到細心，真的是用心在為客人着想，沒有可以挑剔的，深刻體會到了主席故鄉人民的熱情，很驚艷的體驗，外婆八十歲遊韶山，住這家酒店給了我們非常多的照顧，十分感謝這些工作人員的耐心細心，下次會再來，讓我們度過了很愉快的假期

可以説，對韶山的好感是從建國酒店開始的。從普通服務員到大堂經理；從酒店入住到景點參觀，這家酒店熱情、專業的服務，都能讓人感覺到有一種標準叫做：舒適而不冒犯。另外還有一點很重要，那就是————超值！（當下很多酒店都缺乏這樣的入住體驗）
