Brilliant service from talented multi-lingual staff. Clean beach with all areas including pools and grounds well maintained. Food and drink more than plentiful.

This is the best resort I have ever stayed in. All the staff go above and beyond to meet all your needs. The resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Most staff can speak English and the ones that can't still help regardless. There is a lot of food choice, not the same everyday. The quality of the food and the care they take in presenting shows how much effort has been put into making your experience the best possible. Stayed in a Superior Queen room with a garden view, the room was very spacious and very comfortable. The garden and all areas around the resort are beautifully maintained. Plenty of activites going on daily, there is something for everyone. Staff don't expect a tip but when given they accept humbily. You receive the same attention whether you tip or not. I would highly recommend the resort to anyone looking for some winter sun and a place to relax and re-charge.

A fantastic hotel with superb staff and food. Nothing is any trouble. It's handy to have a pen & a photograph of your passports on your phone/tablet, the details are needed to complete the Egypt landing cards, these are usually handed out on the flight an hour or so before landing. No visa charge is payable unless your travelling out of Sharm or staying more than 15 days! USA dollars are best value for Visas because its £25, $25 or €25. We used Sharm Travel Club private transfers £20 return, they are even cheaper if booked via *********** The food is plentiful and of a variety that you won't struggle to find something you like, Salads, Veg food, and sound, burgers, meats, all served piping hot and cooked as you like by the many chefs. Bottled water is replenished daily in your room, along with quality tea bags and Nescafe coffee satchets. There is a kettle in the room and hairdryer affixed to the wall in the bathroom. There is a free lockable safe in your wardrobe. Along with a limited amount of hangers, I usually take 6 more hangers. USA $1 notes are best for tips as coins are accepted but are a pain for the staff to exchange. The room TV is good with a few English channels and the WiFi is good throughout. The main bar closes at midnight and the nightly entertainment finishes around 11pm so there is no problem with noise, the late pub bar down by the beach is open til around 1am and I think aloholic drinks are chargeable after midnight. Special thank you to Mr Ali the hotel manager & the immaculate Mr Yousef guest relations who are always about to help with anything. Mr Osama, Mr Sayed & Mr Sameh who run the bars and restaurants, they ensure your plates are full and your glass never empty. The local Stella draft beer is fine as are the local Gin and other spirits, nothing to stop you buying a bottle of your favourite tipple at duty free and have it on hand in your room if needed to add abit more flavour! Mr Ahmed runs the fabulous reception team and if you need anything from local knowledge or advice they can assist with taxis ect, thanks Mr Farouk. Lastly our room was kept tip top by Mr Mohammed, fun daily towel shapes and all amenities replenished without fuss and always a smile. Thank you everyone and see you all again soon. Stay safe.

Excellent holiday overall, Emad, Naghy, Hossam alaa , Mohammed excellent to name but a few of the staff who were all extremely helpful and efficient , as well as friendly. Hotel need to recognise their staff are a main contributor to many peoples positive holiday experience. Rooms lovely, clean everywhere Mini bar a bit pointless as not part of all inclusive but a minor point. Plenty of sun beds available and food/ restaurants nice

It's the staff who make this 5 Star. They really do everything they can to make sure you are having a good time. The evening entertainment is delightfully low-key, and the day activities are well organised by the animation team. For us, it's the ideal hotel for a winter break.

We visited the Iberotel Palace in February on the recommendation of our close friends who have visited a few times. Well…. We were not disappointed, the hotel is lovely, clean brilliant food (which the staff encouraged you to visit with huge portions of excellent cooked food)and drinks with 2 lovely clean swimming pools and a wonderful beach. However, the stars 🌟 of the hotel are the staff, from the staff who served drinks in the foyer and beach bar, Sayed the restaurant manager ran the a la carte restaurants, the bar manager who ran all bars, Youseff who worked at the beach and foyer bars and all the other staff who were so friendly and went out of their way to make your stay wonderful! We will definitely return and would recommend anyone thinking of visiting to do so!

Just back after a week's break at the Iberotel Palace. I can thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay this being my fourth visit after a number of years away. I read several reviews before returning as it had been some time since I was here and can say that the negative reviewers seem to have visited somewhere else. My only surprise in visiting this hotel is that the number of British visitors seems to be less. I cannot fathom why. I would recommend it to anyone who is seeking an unhurried, quiet, warm and since children under 16 aren't accommodated, peaceful holiday. We had ample choices of food and plentiful quantity and quality of drinks. If I had gripes these would be matters beyond management control such as the fairly chaotic security arrangements at the airport and my own oversight regarding insect repellent. Havng been previously in January or February biting insects were not a problem, however peak season for sand flies is March/April and I hadn't brought repellent, my fault not the hotel's. I am a bass player in a group and duets of singer and guitarists singing to backing tapes are not "bands"! However none were bad at what they did perform and the plentiful food and drink compensated. We didn't undertake any trips or excursions so can't comment on those but The Old Market is literally on the doorstep and we did cross the street to visit.

We were able to return after an 8 year gap, having stayed at this hotel probably for 10 years running. It was a joy to find that all the good things about the hotel that kept us going back were still available, which includes the exceptional service and friendly staff too many of whom to name individually Customer Relations Manager Mr Youseff went out of his way to welcome us back and made sure our stay was comfortable. The food was exceptional and had to complement the chief especially on his Lancashire hotpot. The Irish coffees made for us whilst watching the evening entertainment went down a little too well. On arrival we were allocated the very first room we stayed in at the hotel which shows the detail that goes into ensuring your stay is stress free. A one minute walk from our room to the lovey sandy beach for an early morning swim, and then breakfast, what more could you ask for. Rooms still comfortable, hotel exceptionally clean, Old Shalm market just across the road for an evening stroll. We will be retuning soon!
