Comfort Inn & Suites Shawnee - Kansas City

Stayed one night with my family, rooms were clean, kids enjoyed the pool. Ryan at the front desk was awesome. He was super friendly and helpful

The staff here, literally all of them were over the top above and beyond amazing from check in to check out! I have never stayed anywhere more accommodating and kind.

Rude staff at check in, dirty hallways, elevator not working (we weren't informed of this until after we had checked in and provided payment info), and the bed was as hard as a rock.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Not until after we checked in did they inform us that they hadn’t had water all day… But it would be turned on in 30 minutes. As promised it came on, but then didn’t take long for it to go off again. There was no water until the early morning hours on the next day. Sporadically throughout the day the water would shut off and come back on again. When you would call the front desk they would say oh it’s going to be 20 minutes to come back on… Then two hours later you call and it said I was just gonna be another 30 minutes. We had an event to go to, and we ended up not being able to take showers Because there was no water. When we got back home late evening, there was still no water. Once again called down and complained. We ended up cutting our trip short and leaving in the middle of the night because we were so irritated with this whole experience…I called when we got back home from our trip to speak with the hotel informing them I would like my money back since it was a horrible experience, and they did not hold up to their end of the contract by giving us the normal amenities that you would expect at a hotel. The guy at the front hung up on me! Unbelievable! I ended up having to call the corporate office-they were nice to get my money back. Not to mention the fact the bathrooms were gross there was mouse crap under the sink-Overall, just by the looks of the room they don’t clean much! Save yourself, the headache, Spend a little bit more & stay elsewhere!

I got to my room there was no power other than bathroom lights. Four days I never took a hot shower. There was no hot water. The place is in desperate need of some upkeep. None of the people working had any teeth. Good breakfast though.

Calling the front desk if I needed a housekeep the only thing I didn't like,

I traveled with my daughter for a sports event. We had a very good experience. Check in was quick, staff was friendly, and once we got to our room everything was clean, and had plenty of towels.

The curtains don't close all the way, and there was hair on the shower. Otherwise, the service was great and very laid back, beds clean, and location was perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Everything was great! Very nice hotel and helpful staff. Kids enjoyed the pool and slide.
