The view from the large windows was beautiful, and the room had separate toilets and baths.
The hot springs were also very good, and the pearl hot springs were very good.
The only thing I was disappointed about was that the small humidifier in the room was broken and the plastic on its surface was falling off.

The hotel is a great place to bring children.
There are many places where you can take your children to play on the hotel grounds, and you can feel the nature, so I am very satisfied.

Despite being a bit remote ,took us nearly 3 hours of travelling by car from Kansai international Airport, it was definitely a worthwhile resort to stay for a few days. My husband and I are golfers and we selected a package with accommodation , golf and dining. We were very satisfied with everything during our stay, golf, food , room, onsen, hygiene…..etc. Food was surprisingly good , fine and value for money in a remote resort like this. As a female I enjoyed particularly the special Mikimoto pearl onsen! Overall, the attentiveness and service attitude of staff (though with language barrier) made our days !

This ryokan is good value for money. Having stayed in several ryokans, this ryokan is average. Service was good and facilities were decent with an interesting Pearl Onsen.
However, the kaiseki dinner was a bit disappointing. Paid extra for the Matsusaka beef menu but the dinner was average and not worth the money paid.
If you want to stay here, I would recommend to just take the basic dinner package.

It was refreshing to experience an extraordinary space in the middle of nature inside a national park. At night, we enjoyed marshmallows by a bonfire on the premises, and coffee was served to adults and hot chocolate to children. The starry sky looked wider than usual. I also recommend going for a stroll in a rental cart! The sea breeze from the quiet rias bay is the best! The large public bath is comfortable, with a spacious changing room and a bath containing pearl ingredients. There are also plenty of amenities. After the bath, we were given Ise tea fruit water. The Pokemon Oshawott room, which opened this March, showed the hotel's attention to detail and was relaxing for both elementary and junior high school students and adults alike.
