We got there early for a farmer's day special or a little over three and checked in, then went to the hot tub and relaxed and talked to other guests we met. the rooms are big and clean and the bed is very comfortable. We then had a pre-arranged three course dinner which was absolutely perfect in every way. We went to bed early and woke up early which is just our normal day and had a really great breakfast before checking out

Stayed 2 nights in the cabin and it was amazing...only wish we could have stayed longer! Helga and Dagur were super to talk with! They communicated with us through email as we traveled to Siglufjörður since it was already snowing and wanted to make sure we were safe; very friendly and outgoing. Dagur filled the hot tub for us the first night so we could relax in the thermal water while it was lightly snowing and we REALLY enjoyed the outdoor shower...invigorating! Thank you both for the wonderful stay and memories.

It's all good, but ... there's one but. Since Guesthouse is not a recipient with staff, then the question is how to get to the building when you arrive late at night or at night? The guesthouse is due to send you all the code instructions to the door the day before the trip. In this case, the letter was not spam or anywhere.
