The Westin Istanbul Nisantasi

The room booked from Trip.com was on the 2nd lowest floor and next to the school playground which was extremly noisy. Moreover, the restaurant on the 1st floor had celebration event which was last till 11pm for consecutive 3days. I was trying to ask for room change but was told "fully booked" actually all types of room were available. Location is good, Facilities are new but the service was horrible. It was nightmare choosing Westin Istanbul.

The hotel is great in location, cleanliness, but I had an incident where the room cleaner stole a fine sunglass from the room, where we discovered that after room service (the glasses was old and we didn't give that attention and we don’t want to ruin our enjoyable trip to Turkey). I sent a private complaint email to the hotel reservation after I left the hotel as I didn't want to raise the issue at checkout, just wanted to highlight this issue to hotel management to avoid such indecent in the future with other guests. But unfortunately I didn't get any reply on my email, which I coincide unprofessional from a reputed name like the Westin, that’s why I mentioned it on this website.

Great service, and great assistance at Breakfast from Hatice! Highly recommended hotel in Istanbul. Also, Ikram was very supportive at the reception. I recommend especially that the hotel is near Nisatnasi were all the shops are - such a nice area!

The Westin Istanbul is a real gem!!! It's a relatively new hotel, so everything you touch and feel is clean, stylish and in great work and condition. This is my third stay at this property in the last 6 months. The rooms feel modern, contemporary, super functional with some luxurious touches. Breakfast is fantastic, with everything that Turkey and its delights have to offer. The team from the doorman to the hotel manager will be doing everything they can to support your needs and provide top service. The location is great, near Nisantasi area, a high-end shopping destination of Istanbul, and on a busy street that have many outlets and restaurants. Specially memorable is Doruk, from the gym, who kindly provided some PT sessions as part of my stay, demonstrating professionalism and flexibility. Other members of staff who were welcoming and helpful at breakfast were Mustaffa Merter and Pelin Zeynep. Last but not least, I would like to thank Efecan Alici, the General manager who always acknowledged my Convoy Ambassador Status with personal notes, welcome amenities and room upgrade where possible and therefore, for high tier convoy member this hotel is a desirable destination.

From Achmed at the front desk to Ekrem at the bar/restaurant, the staff went out of their way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. If I needed a taxi, they negotiated a good rate (or range) for me. The breakfast buffet selections included a little bit of many things, including a fry cook to make omelets and fried eggs. One member of our group is celiac intolerant but had a filling breakfast every morning. And I liked the location, next to a shopping mall (with a grocery store). The next time we are in Istanbul, we'll stay at the Westin Nisantasi.
