Located near center of Sissach, hotel is near pedestrian walking shopping area. Room is a bit small but quiet. Staff very friendly and attentive and helpful. Beds are bit firm. Great experience and value for money.

The pizza soggy, The lasagne dog food The only possible positive out of the whole ordeal was the wine and that was a red Italian that they brought in. One order compared to the same multiple orders were all different in size . I will try to be fair but my order is best left not eaten. Bypass

Horrible experience! The entire second floor air conditioning not working. Told room 304 was working, it was not. Room extremely hot. The next day we told hotel if they can not fix then we are not staying second night, will check out and want refund of second night. Air still broken, refused to refund. They got very nasty. Do not have anything to do with them. Skip at all cost. Rooms awful as well.

Da hat sich ja unglaublich viel verbessert: Bei meinem Geburtstagsessen wurde freundlich gratuliert und auf meine Wünsche wurde perfekt eingegangen. Das Wichtigste ist und bleibt das Essen: es war wunderbar und auch die Grösse der Portionen sättigte auch den Hungrigsten unter uns!

Schlechtestes Essen. Einfach grauenhaft. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Es brauchte fast eine Stunde bis wir überhaupt bestellen konnten. Zudem wurde uns dann noch Zuviel für die digestive berechnet. Eines der schlechteren oder sogar schlechtesten Abendessen, die wir je erlebt habe.

Der neue Geschäftsführer ist fabelhaft und das Restaurant glänzt im neuen Schein! Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und wir bekamen definitiv nicht genug! Die diversen Räumlichkeiten bieten Platz für diverse Anlässe egal ob Geburtstage oder nur ein Apero. Das Essen war geschmacklich super! Von der Vorspeise bist zum Dessert eine Feierlichkeit. Grosses Lob auch an das Küchenteam, welche auf die Wünsche super eingehen können!

Im Restaurant Sonne vereinigen sich echte Kulinarik, Stil, Wertschätzung des Gastes und Herzlichkeit. Da geht man einfach immer wieder gerne hin. Das familiäre Engagement gepaart mit der professionellen Küchenkunst ist wirklich einzigartig. Ich kann es von Herzen empfehlen und freue mich auf jeden weiteren Besuch. Mittlerweile locke ich auch meine Geschäftskontakte hierher um dem Geschäftlichen noch das Tüpfelchen aufzusetzen, so dass die Begegnung oder das Gespräch in wunderbarer Erinnerung bleibt.
