Lovely hotel and location, clean and well maintained! A bit out in the sticks and poor excursion experience, an hour away to Dubrovnik old town and a half hour walk to Slano to catch a bus which is way cheaper than the hotel provision! Food choices for vegetarian meals were very poor and the staff at reception were often rude and unhelpful. Whilst the location was good for some R&R it isn’t something I’d recommend for those seeking a little change to just lounging around by the sea. Entertainment was poor throughout the evening and the drink choices diabolical. Overall a pretty basic experience

The best holiday we've been on. Staff aways polite and friendly. All inclusive meals always had a good choice even with one Gluten free. Only negative was getting beer in a very small glass ( used to a pint). Entertainment was OK. Lovely room and balcony. Made use daily of kayaks, pedalos and free bike hire. Stunning location. Will definitely return.

My husband Martin 59 & my two daughters Verity age 23 & Elysia age 20 & myself 56 have just returned from a 7 night holiday at Hotel Osmine, Slano, Croatia 🇭🇷. The Hotel is a Wellness & Health Resort with full entertainment programme, translated into different languages. English, Polish, German, Italian, French Guests. All the Entertainment Staff are fantastic and work incredibly hard to provide all guests with an amazing holiday experience. Our thanks go to Karim Team Leader and Ahmed and Team. But this holisay is going to be what you make it! you have to be prepared to join in and take advantage of all that's available and on offer. Cycle ride into Slano only takes 10 minutes. Walking takes 25 minutes. ATM machine in Slano and shops restaurants and bars. The food at Hotel Osmine is very healthy, there is no sugar in the desserts. The Wellness Spa is fantastic 3 of us had the Top to Toe massage With Karin and it was a wonderful experience. Prices are very good in comparison to Spa in the UK Prices. Gym. 1 pool and a kids pool however the beach has sunbeds and umbrellas around the beach all Free and it's very easy to walk in and swim in the beautiful blue crystal clear water. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The Hotel sits nestled into the side of a mountain in a beautiful bay that looks like a lake. The hotel is very contemporary in design, immaculately clean. The Rooms are clean, contemporary, very comfortable bed, steps with sofa bed idea for couples with young children. Gorgeous power shower in modern tiled bathroom. No complaints at all. Balcony with fabulous views of mountains, sea and trees. You are living amongst Nature for the duration of your holiday. Food is fantastic and caters for all dietary requirements. Wine lager available with meals. Soft drinks. Hot & cold drinks. All facilities are free, safe hire in room, bike hire free for 1 hour, Kayaks, Pedalos, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Tennis Court, Boules, Yoga, Pilates, Stretching, Aqua Fit Aerobics, at the end of the entertainment every evening is DJ and dancing and they play requests. The Hotel is 3 buildings lifts connect them and an underground walkway leads to the Reception and Lift to The restaurant and slope down to the Pool and Pool Bar and Beach. There is a Lounge Bar, shop. Reception change money into Euros. Trips can be booked at Reception. Elaphati Island trip is fantastic. Also Dubrovnik by boat. Both leave from the Marina by the hotel. An air conditioned shuttle bus can be booked at Reception for €50 per person which takes you into Dubrovnik leaves at 10am - back at 4.45pm. Journey to Dubrovnik is 45 minutes. There are a tremendous amount of steps and walking required at the hotel. If you are not able bodied, have trouble walking, back problems, knee problems I would serious advise you to consider this as this is a Health Resort & it was previously a Naturist Resort. We saw lots of young families and couples of all ages, genders etc, lots of elderly people dancin

This hotel is very nice although the location is quite remote. It is a 30-40 minute walk into the centre of Slano where you can get a bus to Dubrovnik, there are only a few buses into Dubrovnik daily. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and have a balcony with a beautiful view over the sea and mountains, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned daily, there is a fridge and tv - not many English channels but there is a music channel, the one thing we missed was a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a spa and gym at the hotel - unfortunately the spa was closed whilst we were there but we did arrive a day after the hotel opened for the season, it is also extra money to use the gym and spa - 7 euros an hour. The food is nice, there is definitely something for everyone- always meat, fish, salad and vegetables, pasta and risotto, not a lot of choice of desserts but that didn’t bother us. Breakfast there are cereals, lovely bread and there are bacon, sausage, egg etc but we didn’t like them - very fatty. The toaster is very temperamental and does tend to be very slow and either under or over toast the bread. The dining room is lovely with views over the sea. The alcohol is very limited and all local unless you want to pay for it. There is only one supermarket in Slano in the centre which is reasonably priced. There are bikes and kayaks free to hotel guests. The pool area is lovely and clean and there are plenty of sun beds available. Snacks are served at 4.30 and 10.45pm - these are usually pastries and fruit, sometimes nuts, cheese and crisps but whilst we were there there wasn’t enough for all guests, there is no snack bar open between mealtimes. I don’t think this hotel would suit anyone who struggles walking as it is built on the side of a mountain and is very steep, there’s quite a walk between the rooms and the dining room and pool area. The entertainment team are really good, very friendly and have a full entertainment programme every day but Friday when they have a day off, they are brilliant with children, adult entertainment at night is average. Overall we had a lovely, relaxing break and luckily the weather was good - there’s not a lot to do if it is raining. Dubrovnik is a lovely city - about 45 minutes away in the bus, 60/70 euros in a taxi unless there are a few of you and they do a reduced rate- again Dubrovnik is quite steep if you do go on the bus and wouldn’t suit any who struggles to walk. There are some lovely bars and restaurants- not all were open whilst we were there but they did look nice - again though a 30-40 minute walk away. It is a beautiful, scenic place.

The location and views are stunning. The hotel is a 40 minute drive from the airport and 30 minutes from Dubrovnik. There is a bus, but it is 5000 steps to the bus stop before you start and 5000 back again. There is a shuttle bus at a cost of 25 Euro return and only if at least 4 people are using it. The taxi is 100 Euro each way. The hotel is basic, totally lacking in character, the food is basic, the decor is clinical and they charge for water, 3 Euro for a small bottle. Tap water only is included in the 'All inclusive' The 'All Inclusive' includes local wine and spirits only, the total bar selection is local wine, beer, gin, they pretend to have tonic, but it produces lemonade! Vodka, pear liqueur, banana liqueur, rum and whiskey. The mixers are coke, orange squash, lemonade, fizzy/still water, apple juice. They serve drinks in glasses by the pool, one guy broke a glass, nobody moved to help him, he walked to the bar, they handed him a dustpan and brush to clean it up himself! Clearly not concerned about health and safety, they have no idea if it was cleaned up properly! There was glass on the stoney beach. Otherwise the staff were helpful. The bed was comfortable, the room was cleaned each day, linen was not changed during our week stay. This hotel needs to do a great deal more to deserve anymore than 2 stars, shame because the views are stunning.

Wow! If you are reading this review, please don't be put off by any negative comments. My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights out of season, with questionable weather and we STILL had an amazing time!!! I was a bit apprehensive about only having one buffet restaurant for our "all inclusive" meals, but I needn't have worried. There was so much to choose from. They had different soups and main courses for lunch and dinner every day. The food there was delicious!! On occasions I even went back for seconds! ;-) There was an indoor bar open daily with an hour or two of entertainment every night. Whilst they were good at getting everyone involved, we couldn't help but feel that sometimes it would have been nice to have been able to go to a quiter bar to chill and chat with new friends that we'd made. The staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. We requested extra pillows and they came within 10 minutes! Our room was so lovely too and the bed was really comfortable!! The hotel laid on a shuttle bus to Dubrovnik for 25 Euros each, which we can thoroughly recommend. We got about 5 hours there which was perfect. We had one day of pure sunshine, so we went to the private beach. Free beach towels, sunbeds, parasols, etc. It's not a huge beach, but we liked that. There's free kayaks and pedalos for hire if you fancy getting out on the water. The weather towards the end of the week was a bit, shall we say, breezy (40mph winds!) so we were unable to do a boat trip. Instead we by-passed the free bicycles and decided to hire electric scooters from the hotel (20 Euros for 6 hours) so that we could travel all round the bay, the harbour and further out. And yes, those scooters are pretty nippy! We loved them! Weather on our last day was heavy rain, but we'd prepared for this and booked into the spa for a massage and facial. We do believe that you have to make the most of your time away. If there was one thing I'd change, it would be the noise of the cleaners. Every morning at 7am we heard them talking loudly in the corridors as they started work. Not that we are late risers, but when you are on holiday, it's nice to have the option of a lie in. So if you are a light sleeper like me, take some ear plugs! Having said that, it really didn't spoil our experience of this wonderful hotel. And yes, I know some people have moaned about the fact that there's nothing to do with their kids, but maybe they should have done more research first. Certainly if you're a couple who like to entertain themselves if the weather is bad and enjoy a peaceful week away out of season, then this place wont disappont! Would we return? Probably not to this resort for two reasons. I feel that we've seen everything we want to see in this area, as its quite small to walk around. But also because I very rarely go to the same place twice, no matter how much I love it! Thank you Hotel Osmine for a great holiday.

Gem of a Hitel. Just returned from a trip to this hotel. Absolutely loved it! Never been to Croatia and loved it.End of season, weather was mixed but we wanted a relaxing break and that’s what we got. We had a premium balcony sea view room which was lovely. Hotel is in a secluded bay which is beautiful. Plenty of Sun loungers and parasols on offer. Two swimming pools, one for adults and one for kids. Food was nice, plentiful and lots of choice. Great views on the terraces of the restaurant and bar terrace of the bay. Slano is about a 40 minute walk but Hotel has free bikes if you fancy a cycle. Free pedalos and canoes available. Lots of trips include a boat island trip available from the Hotel. We went to Dubrovnik one day and Hotel offered a shuttle for £25.00 Euros return per person. Departing at 10 and leaving Dubrovnik at 4pm. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel offers its own entertainment programme. There is also a gym and wellness centre offering spa treatments. Loved this Hotel and would love to return and visit again.

The location of this hotel and its amenities are excellent. The welcome, food, room (with a wonderful view over Slano Bay) were all top rate. Hotel Osmine is located on the bay with its own beaches and only a 45min walk into the town. Cycles were free, which meant we could ride all round the bay and visit local places of interest. There are many walks locally and trips to Dubrovnik, local islands and Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina. We especially enjoyed our drive to Ston with its amazing city walls.

Not an ideal place for family with kids. Almost nothing for kids to do except beach! Not happy staff and terrible food and service. What a shame. Half of the facilities are close. We booked all inclusive but you still have to pay for a bottle of water if you find one! All tap water they offering!!
