Absolutely beautiful hotel , wonderful staff and excellent location . Every detail was attended to in the most precise way , nothing was too much trouble for the whole staff. Fantastic views and exquisite gardens . Food was impeccable particularly the breakfast .

Amazing place. Staff as kind as you can find. Sorrento in Itself it s definitely worth a visit and staying at riviera makes it even more magic. Will definitely return as soon as i can and next time with my daughters since the hotel would be perfect even for family trips.

We just returned from spending our last five glorious days in Sorrento after traveling around Italy for weeks. This hotel was the icing on our wonderful vacation. The staff went out of their way to help you. The hotel was beautifully decorated and spotless. We had a standard room with a lovely balcony overlooking a garden with lemon trees. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked perfectly. The views from the breakfast room were fantastic. As was the breakfast buffet. The spread included anything and everything you could ever want. We had drinks on the deck every night. The hotel was situated away from downtown by a very easy 10-15 minute walk, which we did once or twice a day. Absolutely stunning hotel. We would return in a heartbeat.

This hotel lives up to its name! A beautiful hotel in Sorrento with a view of the Gulf of Naples. The staff were available to answer any and all questions and assist with whatever was needed. The concierge helped me book a private car to take us to the train station in Naples. We stayed only 2 nights. I would have liked to stay another 2 nights so as to do more sightseeing. Our room was nicely appointed with a balcony where we could see the gulf. The food was delicious. Unfortunately when we went there was a rain storm for a good portion of the day but it did clear up so we could walk around the town. The hotel is close enough to downtown to walk to various attractions. We did go out on an errand in the rain storm and they provided us with umbrellas. The hotel has a beach area far below which people used on the days we arrived and left. I’d stay there if we ever get back to Sorrento.

I loved this hotel. Art deco and the choice of a pool or the beach. Towels supplied and you can order drinks and charge them to your room. Staff are very professional and helpful. The buffet breakfast was amazing, I don’t think you could ask for more. The location is an easy 10/15 minute walk into the old town and even in the dark it felt very safe. I gave it a 4 and not a 5 as I am a female travelling solo and although the room was great and pretty safe it was at the back of the hotel near the road and the door opened on to a fire escape and would have easily been accessible, so I had to sleep with the door closed (I don’t like air con). I didn’t make an issue about the room but if I was returning I would definitely be more specific about the room location. The second thing was the light came in through the bedroom door which I find quite irritating. Maybe it could have been sealed better. Complimentary water in the room would be a nice touch as the bottled water in the mini bar had to be paid for. Finally I arrived around 10.30pm after a full day of travelling and although the bar stayed open until midnight there were no snacks available. The room location really was my major issue, but overall this is a fantastic hotel, location and experience 👏👏👏❤️

Just a fantastic stay for 4 nights In Sorrento. The staff was amazing. The sunsets from the bar terrace were an every night ritual. The platform on the water was perfect to relax and swim. It’s a little further from the center of town than you may prefer, but it’s an easy walk (level). The breakfast was better than average. Would definitely stay here again.

We came to this hotel 4 years ago and my husband surprised me with a weeks stay here as we enjoyed it so much the first time. I was worried that it wouldn’t be as nice as the first visit but I was wrong. The hotel hasn’t lost any of its charm. We were greeted when we arrived, and I cannot fault any of the staff, they were all very polite and helpful. I’m vegetarian and they now have a separate menu for vegetarians, and plenty of choice. Food was lovely. If I was being critical the beach cafe only had one option for vegetarians. Our room 120 was very clean and comfortable and the housekeepers kept our room clean and refreshed the tea coffee etc daily. We had a lovely stay thank you everyone.

Had a great stay at Hotel Riviera. Rooms were clean and very spacious with a great view of Mt. Vesuvius. Service all around was great! About a 15 minute walk to the center of town so it was in a little bit of a quiet area which was nice. Would definitely stay here again!

On arrival 8.30pm after an horrendous day 15hrs travelling from London with plane delays .. missing trains .. no help from staff at the stations we arrived at Riviera exhausted hungry emotional and the sight of our Hotel saved the day. Beautiful location!! Coastal views, stunning dinning experiences everyday. Elegant furnishings and art work. Bedrooms large fresh clean elegant and with a balcony. The staff at every area were amazing and we even left with a packaged breakfast and a hug !!!! Thank you so much Hotel Grand Riviera.
