Hilton Garden Inn Zurich Limmattal

I booked two nights, and the first night was a disaster! The air conditioning was incredibly loud, no exaggeration! It was only natural ventilation, so the room was very hot, and my skin felt itchy. The next day, I requested to cancel the remaining night. The hotel agreed and told me to call Trip.com to get their approval. Trip.com then emailed the hotel to request the cancellation. However, the hotel then said they needed manager approval and offered to switch my room first, promising a refund if the manager agreed, but they weren't sure if it would be approved. By the time I returned to the hotel that evening, the refund hadn't gone through, but they had upgraded my room type. The new room's AC worked, and it even had a bathtub – a huge improvement from the night before! So, if you're planning to stay here, make sure to check your room carefully and don't book blindly! Nevertheless, Lake Zurich with its swans and the Rhine Falls are both beautiful.

This Zurich hotel is a bit pricey, but the rooms are elegant and clean, and the staff are friendly, professional, and provide excellent service. Just a heads-up for those driving: hotel parking is really expensive.

This hotel isn't in Zurich, it's in a neighboring canton. You'd need to take several train stops and then a tram to get there from Zurich. If you have business in Zurich, do not choose this hotel. Overall, the price doesn't match the facilities. Many apartments within Zurich around HKD 1500 offer balconies and kitchens (I booked this hotel for around HKD 2200 a night). Public transport nearby is also inconvenient, with only four trams an hour. Also, water tends to splash out easily from the shower in this hotel. Another strange thing is, I was staying alone, so why did you unfold the sofa and make an extra bed? The attached picture shows the tram schedule.

Located about a 40-minute drive from Zurich, the hotel is a bit out of the way, but the price was decent. It's a standard 4-star hotel, with average front desk service. The room was tidy, clean, and offered a nice view from the window. The restaurant was under renovation during my stay, so I didn't get to experience it. There's a McDonald's and a few small restaurants within a 5-minute drive, and a Tesla Supercharger about 15 minutes away. It's also very close to a bus stop. The parking garage isn't affiliated with the hotel and is very expensive; unfortunately, there was no discount for staying three nights, which was a bit painful.

This hotel truly lives up to its 5-star rating, the only minor issue was the parking lot signage wasn't clear, and the staff didn't warn me, which resulted in a parking ticket.

We chose a king-size bed, but they gave us a super small one. The room's carpets were ingrained with dirt, and there were bleach stains everywhere, which looked really bad. The service was genuinely very low quality.
