Wow! The Cable Mountain Lodge is an incredible place to stay. Couldn’t be closer to Zion hiking unless you actually stayed inside the park. The property is at the foot of the mountain with the Virgin River (and deer) running through. Our room had a picture window from which I could see golden mountaintops at sunrise and stargaze all night. Super comfy beds. Spacious, clean rooms. Even great art on the walls! We had a 2nd floor deck with a gas fire pit and sitting area which was so welcome after hiking all day. I liked that there’s a grocery store, restaurant, clothing shop, and Narrows Hike water-gear rentals right on the property - like a little quaint village. Fantastic restaurants within a 5 minute drive. But, honestly, I wouldn’t have needed my car for the whole stay if I chose to eat at the Brew Pub on site every night. Overall, this is one of the best places I’ve EVER stayed! (2nd floor is better than the first floor due to view and room layout, but 1st floor is good). I would return to visit Zion and stay at Cable Mountain Lodge in a heartbeat!
