2-Star Hotels in Perth

The staff are super friendly and the hotel is really well located next to Fremantle Markets. Close to everything (shops, supermarkets, restaurants). However, there's music until midnight every day and the rooms are very poorly soundproofed. You can hear everything, even what the person in the next room is doing… so if you like to go to bed early, this isn't the place for you, or bring earplugs 🙉🙈 but for a night or two it's fine… The rooms are small but comfortable. There's a kettle with tea, coffee, and sugar, and milk and water in the fridge. There's a sink in the room, but the showers and toilets are on the landing. Overall, good, I recommend it for the location.

Cons: parking a bit limited, unsecure. Elevator is functional but a bit scary for my partner. A microwave or similar would have been nice? Or even just cutlery? In places, property is showing age but within reason. Noise through floors/walls from other guests, even closing doors a floor above is very audible let alone TV/etc Shower head needed descaling and was a bit erratic Pros: On beachfront, although our view was a bit obstructed. Dining next door has always been excellent, great food. Room was large, functional, and quite clean and pleasant. Bed was comfortable, pillows pleasant and linen clean. Check in and out was easy and simple. Overall, I'd stay here again and plan to book a room again in December. Our 2 nights here were great, and watching the water from our table having dinner in the rain was fantastic. If you're expecting a 5-star resort, you'll be dissapointed. If you want a clean, large, comfortable room, in a good location and easy access to good food (recommend the fish and chip shop 5 mins away), and just a pleasant beach front stay? Book here.

Budget ”hotel” very close to the train station. Great location, but the building is really old. Can hear people talk next door and the ground make a noise what wakes you up every time. Bathroom was really clean and lucky free everytime I took a shower. Internet was okay and room himself acceptable. Just the check in time and need to pay for the locker is a joke on this price point. I must call from my foreign number to get anyone to open the door at 9am ...

The owner is nice. It’s more like a share-house, well arrangements with public areas. Not crowded, it’s clean and comfortable. People there are friendly like friends. Suitable for short and long stays.

The capsule-like structure, surrounded by wooden planks on the top and sides, felt much cozier and more stable than I expected. Above all, I loved that the bedding was incredibly clean and fragrant! Since it was a bunk bed, I was worried it might creak when climbing up or disturb others, but it was very sturdy and barely made any noise, so I was able to use it comfortably. The restrooms and shower facilities were also very clean and well-equipped. It was a bit disappointing that there was no shelf to place toiletries in the shower area. Personally, I was a little disappointed that the cereal provided in the morning had almost no sweetness. The lobby felt somewhat cluttered, and the furniture in the relaxation areas, such as the sofas, was old, making it a bit less comfortable to relax. However, the entrance to the accommodation featured a very large and sturdy iron door, which gave me peace of mind regarding security. Most importantly, I was satisfied with the most crucial aspects of a hostel, such as the sleeping area and the shower space. This is the place where I felt the most sense of stability among all the hostels I have stayed in so far. It may not be flashy, but I think it is a practical hostel that is faithful to what is necessary!

Great location in the heart of the the city. I walked to Optus Stadium for Metallica. I did have a private room but the bathroom was communal, I didnt have any issues waiting. Friendly staff, good value.
