Find 2-Star Hotels in Nice

THE ROOM: spacious and had not only a good bed but room enough to walk around and open a suitcase. There was a desk area by the window and a small sitting area with a bench by the head of the bed. The room was modern and clean and smelled lovely. It was theoretically quiet as it was facing towards the back of the building but the windows have to remain shut as some guests might come and smoke and chat on the terrace (it admittedly happened only once and until someone shouted at them to go to their room). The main problem was some rather loud and repetitive structural sound, was loud enough to wake me. At first I thought that the upstair neighbours were moving a piece of furniture every 2 minutes but it made little sense. I concluded that it was one of the elevators that had some sort of issue and emitted the sound of a dying whale from early in the morning until late into the night. THE STAFF: the staff was friendly and helpful. However, be aware that you will be charged 10 euros to get into your room if you arrive at the hotel before 15:00 and your room is ready. You will be charged 5 euros to leave a suitcase in storage after 10:00 on the day of your departure. You also have to book and pay for a maid to come and change your towels and empty your bin. The hotel was pleasant and affordable but I have never had to pay for these kind of services in any hotel I have stayed at.

The hotel is located one block away from the beach and right in front of a Tramway station, which is very good, since you probably will have to take the tramway (or walk around 20-30 min) to get into the restaurants and the old town. This tramway line is the one that gets into the airport and on the turistical points. Trip offered a category of room that, according to the hotel staff, does not exist on the hotel (triple bed). I was traveling with a friend and we didn't want to share the same bed. First, staff didn't want to change our room saying they were complete. After insisting, they found another room with 2 beds, but the AC didn't work fine on this new room. After the check-in, the staff member forgot to give my passport back. When I asked for it, he said that ”he wanted to keep seeing my picture because I was very pretty” 🙄. Unecessary, embarassing and not funny at all. Rooms are comfortable enough and correct for a budget hotel.

Original booking was end May 2020. Although my booking was made with a no cancellation policy, I contacted the hotel directly and was assisted by Nadia, (sorry don't know her surname), in moving my booking to October 2020.  She was extremely helpful.  The reply to my emails were super efficient and understanding. If this is the standard of service my family can expect  we are very much looking forward to our stay at this hotel.   Nadia is a credit to your organisation during what are very uncertain and challenging times  I wish to thank her for all her efforts.

Excellent value and service (there is always someone in the reception 24 hours), near the airport, so good location particularly if you arrive late at night. Shower unit can be bigger but was still okay for a person like me who is not small. Room was nicely cleaned. Bed was fine as well as my sleep.

The decoration of the hotel bar is very ordinary and the decoration is very old. The carpet in the room is very dirty and gives people the feeling of being messy. The advantage is air conditioning. It is very close to the train station and far from the sea. It takes more than 15 minutes to walk there. Nice feels very dangerous at night. There are a lot of idle people on the road. It is recommended not to go out at night. The prices in Nice are really expensive and the food is not delicious. The seafood and pasta are very ordinary. Just eat in an environment.

Our stay was exceptional. In Yelp/Sonder I greatly appreciate the autonomy of guests with all possible support of the staff. Last year we were at Nica Jean Médecin and now we’ve returned to Nica Promenade. What we like the most is quality of the sleep and silent support of the nice and educated hotel professionals. As we also had to work, coffee station was a very nice spot - the great idea for the urban hotel. Surely we’ll find a way to come back next year. Since the beach is right away, the Promenade should rethink including the beach towels in the inventory.

Very Nice Place and top services. Professional Staff and bar activities very Fun. The Place stay's very close to the Train Station and 5 Minutes walking from the Massena Area. Rest Rooms and bed Rooms Always Clean. Service available for every kind of service. Highly Recommended!

Good location. It has all the basic amenities. One issue. In the picture and booking confirmation, we booked a queen size bed which they confirmed. When we reach there to our surprise they gave us two small bed. I informed them and requested for a change. They did not accept. I did not liked it. Be cautious when booking and do not rely on their call centre. They do know what they are speaking. The call centre told me I need to be at the hotel to be able a parking and they do not accept reservation. At the hotel, they told me parking is only on reservation

A nice / clean hotel in the best part of Nice . Spent a week with a couple of friends in the Mezzanine Stuite . A comfortable layout with a kitchenette/ washer & dryer . Staff are polite and helpful . Everything is walking distance . Thanks Palais Ségurane for making our stay memorable.

I should have checked in advance, but I was surprised that there was no hair dryer. There is a hot water kettle, but the cup is a paper cup and there is no tea or coffee in the room. It is said that there is breakfast service if you pay. It is about 20 minutes walk from the center of sightseeing. I think it was good because the price was cheap except that there was no dryer. I think it's hard for a suitcase because there's no elevator.
