"Customer service is missing from the reception staff. Very long check in and check out process. The place is old and there is an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen, you have to keep your balcony door open. There isn't privacy if you want to relax in the balcony. Very open and nothing separate from the next door neighbour. No free cleaning service and have to throw your own rubbish outside. No hair dryer available. Bathroom is too small. The location is good. Water dispenser available in the lobby."

"This was a stylish hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay! Unlike in Japan, amenities like bathrobes, loungewear, and slippers weren't provided. However, I was grateful that the hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all L'Occitane products. The power outlets require you to push the plug firmly all the way in. I brought two types of adapters, but one of them didn't work with these outlets. There was a water dispenser in the hallway, which was really helpful for refilling my water bottle. The cleaning staff were very kind and flexible, for example, they were able to just exchange the towels when I requested it. The location was very convenient, with a bus stop right in front, a tram station nearby, and easy access to the ocean!"

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, nestled within a business park with readily available supermarkets and restaurants. It offers excellent value for money. It's also within easy walking distance from Nice Airport T1, nearby Tram stations, and the train station. The apartment-style rooms are clean and spacious, though daily housekeeping isn't provided. The double bed is a bit soft and narrow, but the refrigerator and kitchen utensils are perfect for self-catering. There's a free gym in the building, and the attached parking garage is easy to access, with a clearly marked entrance. The €12/day parking fee is very reasonable for the area. However, be aware that the ramps for entering/exiting and moving between floors in the parking garage are extremely narrow and feature sharp right-angle turns, so be prepared for a challenging drive!"

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, right next to the train station, making it super convenient to travel to nearby towns. It's about a ten-minute walk to the beach, and there's a tram stop right outside, so it's a real transportation hub in Nice. The place was quite clean. Facilities were all good; there's free coffee on the ground floor, and you can grab water yourself. The L-shaped balcony is very spacious, but the curtains are a bit thin and don't block out much light. The only downside is that the elevator is quite slow, fitting a maximum of three people. This hotel offers incredible value for money. During my 20+ day trip in Europe, hotel prices ranged from 750 to 3000 euros per night, and this was the cheapest but definitely not the worst. If you plan on exploring the towns around Nice, this is the top choice.

Upon arrival, we were thoughtfully upgraded to a single-occupancy room for our 3-night stay, as the twin room category was fully booked — a gesture we really appreciated. The room itself was exceptional. The mattress and pillows were among the most comfortable we’ve experienced, ensuring a great night’s rest throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the balcony, which added a relaxing touch to the overall experience. The service was outstanding — attentive, warm, and consistently professional. The team truly made us feel well taken care of. Location-wise, it is perfectly positioned in the heart of the city. Luxury boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Balenciaga are just a few steps away, with many other shops and attractions within easy walking distance — extremely convenient for both shopping and exploring. The only area for improvement would be the gym facilities, which are relatively limited. However, we easily found a well-equipped local gym just a 2-minute walk away, offering a great alternative with a more complete setup and lively atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic stay with comfort, service, and location all coming together beautifully. We would definitely return. ✨

My room was spotless, well-appointed, and provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay, from a very comfortable bed to thoughtful little details that made me feel at home. The location is also excellent: quiet, yet just a short walk from the Promenade des Anglais, the city center, and many of Nice’s main attractions. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast experience. The buffet offers a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options, from French pastries and fresh fruit to savory dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. What truly sets it apart, however, is the wonderful breakfast team. A very special mention goes to Claudia, Noreen, David and Emma, who greeted us every morning with a smile, genuine kindness, and remarkable attentiveness. The entire breakfast staff were equally warm, helpful, and professional, you could feel their passion for making guests feel welcome and cared for. They help you to discover attractions near by, just ask. The reception and service team were also excellent, always friendly, responsive, and eager to provide recommendations for restaurants and things to do around Nice. Their attention and dedication really enhanced my stay. In summary: the Le Riviera Collection is not only a beautiful hotel, but also a place that shines because of the people working there. AAnonymous UserI want to pat myself on the back for choosing this hotel; it was truly excellent. The location, service, cleanliness, and food were all impeccable. If you do choose this hotel, definitely include breakfast! You can see the ocean, and watching happy corgis stroll along the beach while you eat just makes you feel like a wonderful day is about to begin. The croissant was the best I had on the entire trip! The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking away the fatigue after walking all over Nice. The bed was incredibly plush and guaranteed a good night's sleep, and if you're someone who hates being woken up by the morning sun, there are shutters on the window that you can close. The location is right in front of the sea; just cross the street and you're there. Place Masséna is about a 15-minute walk, and there's a laundromat about 5 minutes away. This is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again the next time I visit Nice!

GGuest UserThis hotel was honestly very frustrating. 1. The soundproofing is extremely poor. Every morning, you can hear the housekeeping staff knocking on nearby rooms to communicate or clean. I was woken up by the noise every single day. 2. Even if you hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign, the staff repeatedly ignore it and still knock on your door in the morning, invading your personal space. 3. On my first day, I forget to hang the sign. Yet the next morning they knocked persistently at 9, 10, and even 1 p.m I already opened the door the first time and clearly told them I didn’t need housekeeping, yet they kept coming back. 4. On the day of check-out, it was even worse. We had the sign up, and check-out time was 11 a.m., but they entered our room before we had checked out. What is this—some kind of unwanted morning call service? This seriously disturbed my rest and violated my privacy. Every morning I felt on edge because I could hear them knocking loudly on other doors and thought they were knocking on mine. the stay was very unpleasant. The only positive was the good location. Also, this wasn’t mentioned during booking, but the hotel requires a 150 euro deposit.

CChuWLThis hostel is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes from Nice-Ville station and is perfect for making trips to nearby cities and towns such as monte-carlo and menton. There are also many food options near the hostel and its is conveniently located near the city centre and also the beach. The locker is spacious and hangers are provided for you as well. Luggage storage before and after check-out is free so that is a big plus. Somethings about the hostel are bothersome such as the triple-deck bed. This triple deck bed is so wobbly that the whole bed shakes at the slightest movement such as turning your body or even just lying down or sitting up. This experience required everyone to have minimum movement throughout the night. The bottom bedframe being slightly curved shows that the bed obviously needs to be attached to the wall for better stability and support. The top bunk of this triple-deck is also not fitted with a nightlight and charger. This means that if you sleep on the top bunk, not only can you not see, you also do not have the convenience of charging your appliances while sleeping. This also means that this third deck is not part of the original bedroom design. The bathroom is a tiny bit mouldy and there is minor drainage smell but it is manageable so long as you keep the door closed. Overall, it is a nice hostel and the convenience to nearby towns, Nice city centre, and old Nice, makes up for the terrible triple-decker bed that honestly just should not exist and also seems like a last minute addition for more profit.

OohgodheschanThe hotel environment is excellent, and the location is superb. Right outside, there's a bus stop, and behind the hotel, there's a tram station. It's super convenient to get anywhere. I stayed for 6 days and found it very easy to travel to Antibes and Monaco during my stay. Pascal at the front desk was very professional and enthusiastic! I really liked him. He added a lot of positive vibes to our check-in experience. All in all, when I come back to the South of France, I'll definitely stay here again!
