Novotel Suites Nice Airport

9.1/10
Great

The location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations. The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean. The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies. I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults. There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes. Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around.

Maison Albar - Le Victoria

We had a truly wonderful stay at Maison Albar Hotels Le Victoria. Upon arrival, we were thoughtfully upgraded to a single-occupancy room for our 3-night stay, as the twin room category was fully booked — a gesture we really appreciated. The room itself was exceptional. The mattress and pillows were among the most comfortable we’ve experienced, ensuring a great night’s rest throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the balcony, which added a relaxing touch to the overall experience. The service was outstanding — attentive, warm, and consistently professional. The team truly made us feel well taken care of. Location-wise, it is perfectly positioned in the heart of the city. Luxury boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Balenciaga are just a few steps away, with many other shops and attractions within easy walking distance — extremely convenient for both shopping and exploring. The only area for improvement would be the gym facilities, which are relatively limited. However, we easily found a well-equipped local gym just a 2-minute walk away, offering a great alternative with a more complete setup and lively atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic stay with comfort, service, and location all coming together beautifully. We would definitely return. ✨

Great hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows: 1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do. 2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him. 3. Restaurant clearly understaffed in the evening and being carried by a few superb waiting staff, namely Ken, whilst others swan around busy with little impact. Food was great and timely (once you could order it). 4. Tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner - Two of the four white wines on the menu were out of stock. Clearly some teething issues with this new hotel, understaffed and poor communication and training. A few excellent staff too. But seemed to lack any meaningful or visible leadership in key client facing areas, which the brigade seemed to need.

getting there : you dont need the tram from Terminal 1 (its walking distance and its well sign posted)but you do for terminal 2. The main door was out of order so in the dark it’s hard to find the side one. Reception was easy but there can member of staff after 10/11pm which could delays things. Rooms are fine but I would not say to Sheraton standards and certainly nothing to brag about on the deluxe room option. All comfortable, practical , clean and what you need for an overnight stay. The pool was closed as Jan/feb there is no one to supervise and rather cold. This was not mentioned when booking was done which is a shame if you have kids! Room: is fine but there is a constant buzzing noise which either comes from the aircon or the electrical unit outside ( not sure). Bed is comfy and cosy and bathroom is all what you need. However there is a constant smell of sewage coming and going either in the hotel area or the bathroom. It’s intermittent and comes and goes, somewhat unpleasant at times but not overwhelming annoying. Breakfast was good and you can order an omelette (as per previous unsure reviews) on request though plenty of choice is presented for full international breakfast. It’s all spread out over the whole room so there is a lot of going and coming around :) Overall easy stay for a night , Summers or hot days must be fun with the top terrace/pool thought the view is mostly over the airport ( if you like that). I would say a tick expensive for what you get but they can charge a premium for airport surroundings! Recommend for short stay or late arrival.

Good location close to the Promenade and Jean Medecin. Good amenities and I had got to relax. I had a balcony in my room. Room service food was not the best as it was precooked and was not heated evenly that the risotto was stuck together and looked like it was still frozen. It was not what I had expected.

Absolutely appalling! Humiliating and maliciously difficult service that delayed a traveler. I strongly advise against solo female travelers or those arriving late at night for a layover from staying here! I have to write my first ever negative review for an Accor hotel because of my experience at the Novotel Nice Airport. As a guest who prepaid for two nights in full, I was subjected to an unbelievably terrible ordeal at this hotel. Due to a severe train delay (over 12 hours), I arrived at the hotel alone, utterly exhausted from a long journey, at almost 4 AM. Despite being advertised as a 24-hour reception airport hotel, the night staff not only lacked basic professionalism but repeatedly subjected me to cold sarcasm and interrogation. When I presented my passport with a smile, informing him I had a two-night reservation, the front desk employee was incredibly arrogant and aggressive, repeatedly questioning me: ”It's 4 AM!” ”This isn't yesterday!” – what a 'surprising' way to treat a guest. Yet, when I arrived, the front desk was perfectly normally checking in another couple with luggage. It seems I wasn't disturbing his rest, was I? As an airport hotel, is it really the first time they've encountered a late-night arrival? Or does a '24-hour reception' airport hotel actually not provide this service? As a legitimate customer who fully prepaid for two nights, the right to use the room was 100% mine, regardless of what time I arrived on the first night. What was the purpose behind the front desk's malicious and abnormal behavior in making things difficult for a guest? Was it his utterly nonexistent professionalism? Or was it because of my appearance? A solo Asian female traveler – did that momentarily make him feel he could exert his privilege or power to 'teach a lesson' to this guest? Or did my arrival somehow harm his interests, causing him to vent his anger on an innocent guest? This kind of discriminatory workplace bullying and emotional abuse completely trampled on the basic standards of the service industry. This isn't just poor service; it's a severe lack of professional ethics. Such individuals are a disgrace to the hotel industry. I strongly advise all solo female travelers, especially Asian women, and anyone needing a safe place to rest after a delayed journey, to completely avoid this hotel. At a moment you least expect, you might inexplicably encounter extreme malice and humiliation here!

The location is convenient – about a 10-minute walk to Nice Riquier train station, and 20-25 minutes on foot to Place Masséna. Tram #1 runs nearby, and a bit further, from Place Garibaldi, you can catch tram #2 to the airport and tram #3. Across the street from the hotel is a shopping center with a Carrefour that we visited daily. The room has almost everything you need for a stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette with a two-burner stove, microwave, kettle, capsule coffee machine (we don't drink coffee, so didn't use it), refrigerator, and dishwasher (with a few tablets provided). There was also dish soap, but no sponge (we had to buy one ourselves). There was also no cutting board (we bought one too). All necessary utensils are available (though for knives, there's only a small one for vegetables and a bread knife; a larger, all-purpose knife would have been nice). For those who care, there were no cooking essentials like salt, sugar, or spices, which are usually present in apartments of this type. As warned beforehand, there's no cleaning service during your stay (there's a vacuum cleaner in the closet). You have to take out the trash yourself, and towels are not changed (there's a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is very convenient; you can wash something and it dries quickly). The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel, a bathtub, and a shower hose. An ironing board is available (I don't recall an iron as it wasn't needed). There's also a safe. Our stay was quite satisfying, and we would book again.

Fantastic hotel with great location. Rooms were lovely with a terrace. Lovely touch at night with a turndown service. Chocolate and gold eye masks. Spa and rooftop pool were great especially after a long day sightseeing. Rooms cleaned to perfection and all fresh towels and bedding. Staff were fantastic especially Samantha who checked us in. She was friendly and gave plenty of recommendations for eating and heading out on day trips. She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel. Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station. Perfect for exploring the coast. Will be returning to the hotel in the near future. Thank you for a special stay.

The room was pretty good by European standards; we could open two suitcases, and it was quiet at night. The partial sea view was quite layered and actually very beautiful. The drainage was a bit clogged, but the hotel staff handled it quickly. The front desk had basic professional etiquette, but by domestic standards, they weren't particularly warm. However, the room overall was nice, and the stay was generally acceptable.

The hotel environment is excellent, and the location is superb. Right outside, there's a bus stop, and behind the hotel, there's a tram station. It's super convenient to get anywhere. I stayed for 6 days and found it very easy to travel to Antibes and Monaco during my stay. Pascal at the front desk was very professional and enthusiastic! I really liked him. He added a lot of positive vibes to our check-in experience. All in all, when I come back to the South of France, I'll definitely stay here again!
