2-Star Hotels in Lisbon

The location is fantastic, but the facilities are very basic. I'd recommend looking elsewhere. It's my fault for not reading carefully, but be aware that luggage storage costs extra and towels are not provided. Also, unlike typical dormitories, it seems this was originally a hotel room converted into a dorm. There were four beds in one room, and I thought it would be nice with fewer people, but the bathroom is exclusive to that room. There are no additional toilets or showers in the hallway, meaning up to four people share one bathroom. This led to waiting times, and any sounds from its use were clearly audible from the beds. The foot mat in the shower room was always dirty, which was a concern, though it might have been left that way by previous users. Wi-Fi worked without any issues. The staff were friendly, but if the above points bother you, I'd suggest finding another place.

I chose a room with a bathroom, which is actually the master bedroom of the house. It's quite spacious and has everything. The location is also very good. There is a subway station downstairs, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The kitchen at home is also very easy to use and has everything. The parking situation is not clear. It may not be easy to park on the main road. Comparing the beds in the youth hostels nearby, the price was about twice as high as that in the youth hostels, but they were much more comfortable and comfortable, so I decided to change and did not continue to stay in the youth hostels. Although the landlord is not good at speaking English, he is still very enthusiastic about using translation software to communicate and help. Thank you very much. All in all, it is a very cost-effective choice. If you feel uncomfortable staying in a youth hostel, this is a good choice and highly recommended. (Note that the owner has more than one house, so different house types may not be in the same location. The two houses are not too far apart on foot for four or five minutes. Since there was no phone call in advance and the language was not well understood, the location on the map It’s just one of them, but it’s not where I live, so it doesn’t matter if I wait for a while. The hotel is very close to the metro station, which is great. It's located right on Liberty Avenue, and the surrounding area is nice. The hotel itself is in an older building facing the street, so it feels a bit dated. The facilities are quite old, and the bathroom is small, but the price is also very affordable.

Overall good stay. Advantages: great welcoming staff, bus stop in a few meters, central location, comfy bed, kettle in the room Minor disadvantages: a bit worn out room (though it does not affect the experience) More noticeable disadvantages: around 10 minutes of walking from the metro, a bit hard if travelling with a luggage from the airport; room is rather dark (not enough lights) and there is no fridge (the latter is really regrettable since it would be nice to be able to bring some snacks for the evening/morning) Breakfast is tasty but very limited (e.g. one option of cheese, ham) but you can squeeze yourself fresh orange juice which is nice

This is not a quality hotel, but it is in a great location and if you understand something about the rooms you might find it ok. We booked a superior double room and firstly it is not a double bed. The hotel told me they do not have double beds in these rooms, they are all singles pushed together. Secondly there definition of ‘superior’ is that the rooms have been recently decorated and are superior to what they used to be. The reality is that they extremely small rooms, a hanging space either side of the bed with 3 hangers, no wardrobe and no drawer space whatsoever. I think for 1 night this is manageable. Beware some sites show this room with sofas and wardrobe’s- they do not exist as a double room. These are triple rooms and these rooms are more spacious and have a double bed, wardrobe and drawers. Not all have sofas! I found all this out on a recent stay. I booked a superior double and the hotel moved me to a larger triple room. So good customer service. But in peak season I might have been stuck!

A short stay in a small but clean and comfy room. The room was on the top floor but fortunately the manager gave me a hand carrying my suitcase up to the top as there are no lifts. Kitchen is small but clean with most things you need for self catering. I slept great which was what I was looking for 2 previous poor nights sleep. There is a little table with chairs to sit around to eat and work on your laptop in the kitchen area if necessary. I would have stayed an extra night but would have had to move down a level and on that level the so called ”desk space” is really just a shelf with some seats so only really large enough to eat food from rather than work on a laptop. The area is a bit out from the centre but if you want to visit the castle and some of the city views from top of Alfama it's ideal and you can get the creaky but quaint 28E into the centre so you can cross that off your bucket list too

staffs are very welcoming. the location’s quite good as there’re supermarket, cafes and tram stations (line 28) nearby. the luggage storage is just putting your luggage on the floor, which feels not very safe. Also, someone who stayed there disturbed us RIGHT after 11pm saying that it’s the hostel’s resting time. but overall it was a good stay

The room with bathroom inside the room with balcony. No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy. There is elevator, no problems with luggage. There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Bedsheets not clean properly. Toilet very dirty due to more people. But Tawosh was very friendly .

Nice staff helpful and good hygiene and good place near sea side 45 mins to the beach and cool place no disturbance from outside and traffic. Ice view of balcony to the sea and Cristo Rei Christ Statue, Lisbon
