Guest UserThis hotel is located right inside the airport, which is incredibly convenient for early flights or late arrivals. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was a bit small but comfortable, and the bedding was great. Plus, they have a hot spring bath! Highly recommend.

The room was so clean and stylish, it really lifted my spirits! It was so good I honestly wished I could live there. I only stayed one night, so I didn't get to use them, but there was a rice cooker, microwave, oven, and washing machine, which made me want to stay for multiple nights!

Thank you to the hotel for your care and service. The hotel is close to the train station, and we'd love to try the hot spring on the sixth floor. The hotel also offered airport shuttle service, which was incredibly thoughtful for us as we had to catch an early flight. Thank you to the hotel and all the staff! ❤️

It was quite a challenge to walk through the snow with my suitcase from Chitose Airport, and it felt a little far, but I was happy with the location as there was a Seico Mart nearby and the room was spacious with plenty of space to spread out my luggage.

BisiligecengbuOut of the three onsen hotels I stayed at in Lake Shikotsu, Suizantei, which is popular online and hard to book, was actually quite average with no scenic views from its onsen. Then there was the extremely overpriced Aigashiro, which was even worse – no service, no ambiance. Marukoma was my last stay and also the cheapest. Reviews online were mixed, but seeing it was a century-old onsen, I wanted to give it a try. Turns out, it was the only one of the three worth visiting. First, the onsen views are the best because of its elevated location. I wouldn't recommend the wild onsen as it's unmaintained and the water is very cold. However, the outdoor public onsen truly offers fantastic views and a great panorama. And the view from the public cafe is incredibly comfortable; just sitting there and daydreaming is a pure delight! The rooms are just for sleeping, small, and without a view, but the previous two hotels weren't any better. Dinner, I think, was decent for the price! The ingredients seemed fresh, and it wasn't as bad as some online reviews claimed! Overall, Lake Shikotsu is worth visiting, and Marukoma is worth experiencing! It's an old brand, and the service is quite good! When we checked in, we casually mentioned needing a taxi the next day, and at breakfast, a staff member came to ask if we needed help calling one! That was really heartwarming! No discrimination whatsoever! The private paid onsen is also good! It's not expensive and I recommend trying it out.

The hotel has a new wing, and I was lucky enough to stay there. The room was spacious with a small living room. The refrigerator was small but had both freezer and refrigerator doors. The bathroom was separate, but I was a bit surprised that there was no sink in the toilet. However, it was very new. There was a coffee machine on the first floor, available for self-service from 3 pm to 9 pm. Although it's about a 7-10 minute walk from the station, it's a hotel I would stay at again.

Anonymous UserThe hotel English name is not available in Google Map search, only Japanese name, causing us a little difficult to navigate from New Chitose airport to the hotel. Free on site parking for hotel guest is available. Breakfast is cozy Japanese meals in buffet style, delicious.

Guest UserThere are many places to eat around the place to stay, next to the convenience store, there is a Japanese-style izakaya opposite the convenience store, and the roast chicken inside is delicious.
There is a lot of space in the room compared to the place where I lived before. We are in a hurry for two days. The kitchen is fully equipped. Next time, you can ask some friends to stay here for a few more days and buy fresh local ingredients to experience cooking together.
In addition to air conditioning, there is electric heating, although Hokkaido in April is still a bit cold, but the house is not cold.
Overall it's ok.
Will stay again next time I go to Hokkaido.
