Grace PangiranWe stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable.
From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip.
All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable.
We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding.
A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!).
The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night
It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special.
Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

For the price, I think it is a reasonable option. However objectively:
1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking. The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about. To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.
2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews. However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.
3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both. They only cleaned 1. I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.
4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.
5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.
6. The staff were helpful and friendly. Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).
7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible. It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.
All in all, it was a decent stay. Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.

Guest UserFrom collecting keys till checkout, everything went smoothly. The room is clean and nice. And the price is worth it with the pool view. Very efficient and responsive. Definitely will choose this place again. The security guard also do well their job to look after the kids at the splash pool to make sure kid play safely. 👍 👍

Mahathevi PalanisamyThe hotel room was nice but have to improve the tv channels selection. I have been staying in this hotel few times and I feel they have not improved the tv channels. Mostly is Malay language and only one English Channel. We come from different countries and you need to cater for us too. Moving forward you can also upgrade to smart tv so that we can use our Netflix account to login in too. Staffs were very nice and room was nice and cozy.

Feeling great back to Mother Nature, with hens, cats, deers, parrot. This guesthouse is greenish and away from downtown. Well maintained by two helpful, friendly kakak. The room is spacious and clean, equipped with hairdryer, water heater and toiletries. Also provided free parking lot. Surprisingly, they sold my childhood snacks. Highly recommended to travellers and families in Ipoh.

Anonymous UserIt was ok, very basic. Lots of drinking water.
Cons:
- Bathroom could do with upkeep, massive hole between door and door frame. Should be a full sized door. Not hygienic.
- Two single beds but they are tiny. Not comfortable for two adults to sleep in.
- Small TV, not even a modern TV. For hotels price, should at least have a decent TV.
- Soundproofing not great but was quiet during our time.
- music in hallways was kept on all night, we had to tell them to turn it off...
- we could smell smoke inside our room & bathroom from other people smoking in their rooms
- Breakfast was AWFUL, even if included it's better to go out for food. Hygiene in buffet for breakfast was poor, with flies in the fruit and salad.
- Front desk staff not very supportive or helpful.

Guest UserGreat location especially around Ipoh old town. Staff was friendly however, poor communication skills. Overall, the place was ok but before we arrived, we were told, there was water disruption and we were offered to their other outlet, fortunately, when we arrived, water supplies installed and we chose to stay here. Room was tiny but we are not complaining on this as we only took this room for zzzz, we were out the whole time we were there. Toilet roll was not available in the room as we checked in we had to ask from the staff

Anonymous UserThe location is good, nearby to the eateries and easy accessible. There is also ample food parking inside and outside the place.
Contactless check in and checkout as well. The only thing is there is some humid smell in the house, after open the window and get some fresh air, it’s good.

Worth the price you pay! Great location, just beside the highway. Everything is clean, aircond was functioning well, the room is nice. It’s just that the small fridge is not functioning and the water pressure is kinda slow. But I don’t really mind. The front desk was also nice. I will reconsider staying at this hotel again for a short staycation.

Anonymous UserPROs:
Cute and clean unit. Perfect for a group stay in Ipoh.
Located near the town; able to reach by car within
5-10mins.
Everything in the unit is working properly except the
WiFi. There’s even a washer for laundry.
Recommend to bring your own toiletries and laundry
detergent.
Overall it’s a great place for quick getaway.
CONs:
Bad building management, which is no fault of the
unit owner. Rude security guards, unclear signage
both inside and outside of the parking lots, even
worst is the wretched traffic management.
If you are driving and parking in this building, I
suggest you go slow and take your time looking out
at the signage, lest you fall victim to their
management’s ridiculous rules.
This was my second stay at The Anderson condo,
while I knew from the first stay that their parking lots
had poor lighting and signage, I’m surprised that it
can get worse.
