Very clean, cozy, nice and quiet hotel with good restaurant. It has a family-owned feel to it. In the neighborhood are many shops where the Danish come to shop - I assume it is cheaper than in Denmark. Also there is the Nolde museum nearby with an impressive garden in the Summertime: worthwhile a visit.

This is our 3rd visit at Tetens and we simply love this old and classic style hotel. The food is really good and they have an interesting wine list dominated by German wines. We can't wait to get back.

Charming hotel from the outside with a very nice interior. One of the best showers I've used in a while, big and powerful, good for larger people like me. Very clean and efficiently run. The only negatives were the bed (I fell out) it was two singles pushed together, the other was the TV, it had no English channels, not even BBC or CNN World News. I'd definately stay again, I really liked it.

Als Zwischenstopp kurz vor der dänischen Grenze ausgewählt wurden unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. In einem sehr alten historischem Gebäude wurde ein recht modernes Hotel eingerichtet. Im Erdgeschoß sind ehemals stufige Übergänge durch Rampen ausgeglichen, es gibt behindertengerechte Zimmer. Der Hauptteil der Zimmer befindet sich unter dem mächtigen Rohrdach, mit Treppen. Unser Zimmer ebenerdig, war groß genug um ums Bett bequem rumzugehen, Dusche ebenerdig und mit Haltegriff, Personen über 2Meter sollten bei der Toilettenbenutzung einen Helm tragen. Kompromisse sind leider erforderlich wenn man etwas Modernes in Altes einbaut. Zimmer Bad und Bett sehr sauber, letzteres bequem. Unser Zimmer lag abseits der Straße auf der bei Sonnenaufgang der landwirtschaftliche Verkehr mit 600PS beginnt. Frühstück (extra bezahlen) sehr ausreichend, guter Kaffee, auf Wunsch handgemachte Spiegel oder Rühreier aus echten Eiern, Ladelunderfleischsalat, Eiersalat, Heringssalat, diverse Wurst, Marmelade, regionale Käse, Säfte, Obst. Sehr freundlicher fixer Service, auch beim Ein- und Auschecken. Es wird vorab bezahlt.
