酒店在石公山碼頭對面，兩邊農家樂較多，吃飯方便，民宿三層樓，二層湖景房都是大床，比較寬敞，三層湖景房是雙床，凹進去一個陽台，房間裏比較擁擠。設施顯得簡陋，電視櫃，靠窗桌和洗臉池都是水泥枱麪，門、床用了藤條裝飾感覺冷颼颼，地面用了水泥地磚，感覺不太乾淨的樣子。部分衞生間新換的龍頭還不錯，有些就不太靈，床鋪一般有點軟。窗口能直接看到對面的碼頭，房間貼馬路。民宿除了一樓的早餐廳和前台，沒有其他公共區域和院子。總體評價，價位偏高，服務很好。早餐搭配的不錯，老闆熱情，住民宿景區買票可以打折，推薦的附近餐館都去吃了，陳記和惠仁，隆興記麪館，沒有踩雷。可能對西山期望太高，或被小紅書各種網紅民宿騙照，整體感覺一般，就是農村臨水的一個大島，遠不如蘇州，無錫等城市臨太湖的濱水步道乾淨優美，靜山夕陽觀景，趕上陰天迷霧，兩邊都是小攤賣吃的，環境可想而知。
