A beautiful and peaceful setting with endless views over the Swellendam landscape from our bedroom. Charming accommodation and a friendly welcome added to the experience. The cottage was well equipped, tastefully decorated and the bed comfortable. A memorable stay and we would love to return to Arumvale.

A stunning location and a very comfortable stay. The accommodation is like a home from home. I would totally recommend staying here, in under 5 mins from the town but a peaceful spot. Feedback - I would say there needs to be more than one chopping board in the kitchen and perhaps another stand fan for hot weather.

We enjoyed a lovely one night stay in a one bedroom guest room, with lounge, kitchen and veranda. The pretty house is in a wonderful rural location but 5 minutes drive to Swellendam. We were met by one of the staff and he helped us settle in and gave us local information.Everything we needed was in the room and we particularly enjoyed having a drink on the veranda on a warm evening. The room was tastefully decorated, a few creaky cupboards in the kitchen but the overall feel is charming, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Arumvale is a gem. Cottage very comfortable and cozy. Well equipped kitchen, good filter coffee ☕, plunger and milk provided . Staff always on hand and friendly. Lily the resident staffie was adorable.

We had a tremendous (much to short!) stay at Arumvale Country House. The place is unique and of great beauty, a small drive from very pleasant Swellendam. Thank you for the welcoming and hope to come back soon.

We stayed for only one night, but we were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings and the comfort of our room! We had a very comfortable bed and pillows, a fully furnished kitchen equipped with everything you might need and a spacious sitting area. The views are amazing and the owners and staff were very friendly. Would have loved to stay longer!!

Units are so well appointed, home away from home. Peaceful and quiet in the most beautiful mountain setting. Lots of exploring for kids, and peace of mind for parents to let them wander around. Laid back Sunday at the pool surrounded by plenty of shade. Even got to bring the fur baby. Conveniently located for Berry picking season for the kids and plenty of kwirky shops and restaurants in town.

Outstanding service, attention to detail. Hosts were very welcoming. Braai was already prepared for us, just needed to be lit. Amazing views. Our new favorite getaway to unwind and enjoy the solitude. Will definitely be going back. Loved it!!!

Thank you for a very pleasant stay! Apartment was clean and well equipped. Nice and comfortable, homely setting. staff friendly and welcoming. Easy check in and out. Wish we could have spent more time.
