Princess Sun Hotel

Beautiful hotel, very clean. Food was brilliant and the all inclusive drinks were excellent. All the staff were so nice, big shout out to the kids entertainment team who do an amazing job. We all hope you guys will be able to open again next year.

We have stayed at this hotel in July, recommended by some friends that have been there last year and enjoyed their time here. We had a great time. Hotel is spotlessly clean, food was great, varied, especially the food at the pool bar 10/10, all staff are smilling, helpful and hardworking. I want to send specials thanks to Tsampika, the restaurant manager and the head chef who have cooked food for my son everyday (something we brought from home and needed cooking) and accommodated his needs throughout our stay. Also Valentinos, restaurant waiter, was always helpful to us and smilling. Camelia at the pool bar, such a great asset to the hotel. A nice, kind lady, always so cheerful and smilling. Blonde long hair lady at the reception, great advice about Rhodes and where to go visit, made sure our room requests were satisfied, always with a smile on and ready to help. Unfortunately our holiday ended being caught up in the wild fires and it was so sad to see the hotel being damaged and not opening for the rest of the season. We are actually so sad for everyone at Princess Sun! They truly are a great hotel! Hope we can come back to the hotel soon.

We moved to this hotel after a couple of days in a hotel that did not suit us. WOW!! We would return, Rhodes as an Island is stunning and this hotel is well placed to travel. The hotel, before the fires was bang on, friendly staff, great rooms, pools were clean and the pool bar was excellent. Don't take my word for it, check it out gor yourself.

Booked last minute, had a fabulous end-room with a large balcony & a wonderful view of the sea. Lots of families but entertainment acceptable for a couple (eg traditional greek dancing or music quiz). All inclusive ended before the bar closed. Food perfectly fine (normal all inclusive) with a nice outdoor restuarant area with a good view of the sea & mountains. A couple of pools, plenty of sun beds, big queues at bars but staff nice and good selection - a few cocktails on offer and good selection of soft drinks. Slushes, greek iced coffee, iced tea, juices etc as well as all the usual alcohol options. Very good that you could catch the mini bus to the beach/bar area of a sister hotel & utilise the all inclusive facilities there (fresh gyros, BBQ meats, icecream, slush drinks). Need closed in water shoes for the sea as it's stones/shingles. Only a few bars/restaurants in local area, worth being all inclusive as you're up a hill in a fairly quiet town. Clean rooms & resort, really lovely holiday. Long transfer.

I really enjoyed my stay here, definitely recommend it. Don’t miss out on the comedy show.

Stayed for 7 nights with my fiance at this hotel for our first ever vacation in a warm country, like we say in our home country. Our expectations were high, because the reviews were good and luckily we didn’t get disappointed. We stayed in room 1230 and we loved the view, could see the sea and the pool area. We could also enter to our room without entering the hotel and pass the lobby. Some day we didn’t want the attention that was at the lobby (photographer, spa people to offer their services). We were by the beach a lot and we never had to look for an empty lounger, there were always plenty. Maybe because we were there always around 10:00. The mini van that took us to the beach, was a 9 seater, not a bus like every other review stated. If there were more people that wanted to go to the beach, it took only 7 minutes for the driver to take people to the beach and drive back. We really liked the food, it repeated, but we didn’t mind, it was tasty anyways. The pizzas by the pool and beach were really good. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed every day. Don’t know if the sheets were changed over our stay, but they felt fresh every night. The air conditioner was perfect, since it was really hot outside, we got a really good sleep. We definitely want to come back to this hotel, but with our children, they would love it because the hotel is also very children oriented. If you wouldn’t like to hear children having fun, then I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We didn’t mind, because we’re used to it. The staff was also very friendly. I don’t have anything negative to say, if there was something then I have already forgotten about it, because it wasn’t so relavant.

Our second visit to this hotel - returned as we enjoyed our stay so much last year. Unfortunately cut short due to the wild fires but the 5/10 days we did get were beautiful. Friendly staff that will genuinely do anything to help you. Eg - the shuttle driver dropped us at the pharmacy twice and collected us from the top near the other hotel when my daughter became unwell. Camelia at the pool bar - second year running - a kind helpful wonderful woman who supported us right until the last minute during the evacuation. The hotel manager and the chef who noticed my autistic daughter was struggling and made her something that they didn't even have in the restaurant on that day to try and make her feel better. It's clear that from last year the hotel have been making cosmetic improvements making it even more beautiful than it was. This years animation team wrte incredible. They included everyone possible. The disco and the music quiz were so much fun! Special thanks the Juelz - what a credit to your team. Food was fantastic and the catering team work tirelessly all day! The pool bar especially! Unfortunately a beautiful holiday ended in awful times but that does not take away from how fabulous this place is and will be once they are back on their feet. Comfy beds. Very clean. Stayed 10 days. Food good but a bit repetitive but still nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Kidsspa very good for young visitors. My 12 year old loves it. Beach club fab. Lovely lunches. Will definitely visit again. Not much to do locally but pools fab too.

Sadly our holiday was cut short and we only had one day at the princess sun due to the wild fire. After our first day we were so excited to continue our holiday and we are so sad we didn't get to have the holiday we had spent months looking forward to. The hotel was beautiful, rooms so clean and modern, comfy beds, lovely thick soft towels, amazing views from the balcony. The pool was amazing and my children loved the slides. They were so sad they only got to go in it once as they loved it so much. The restaurant was great we found there was lots of choices for myself husband and 2 young children age 5 and 8. The kids loved going up and picking what they wanted. We managed to have one breakfast and one tea in the restaurant and both were great. The pool bar food was amazing the kids loved the pizza. The bar staff worked so hard in the heat and were so polite and friendly and made you feel so welcome. As did all the staff everyone seemed lovely. The transfer bus to the beach was great and thanks to the driver we was able to get back from the beach to grab our passports but unfortunately we had already seen the hotel was on fire at this point so we had to run and escape as fast as we could. The beach at the sister hotel was lovely and children loved snorkelling and seeing the fish, the food was amazing especially the Gyros. We are so sad we didn't get to experience this lovely hotel for longer than one day and do all the things that we had planned but i wanted to say how amazing we thought it was and how sorry we are to all the staff for the damage that has been done. Our family send all our love and support at this very difficult and scary time. We are finding it very hard to get our heads round what happened so I can't imagine how you all feel.
