"In a privileged natural environment, trying to keep the charm of a place where time seems to have stopped and respecting the essence of the island, this small hotel and its surroundings give you the opportunity to return to your childhood. We travel with a number of families of friends with 8-year-olds and enjoyed a lot. It was like being at the grandparents' house: they entered, got out, watched the TV, played on the square... and we were happy to see them enjoying so, with so much freedom and quiet. "For what I needed, the hotel had a great location. The staff was very friendly. There is a cafe just outside for any need. The room was spacious and clean."

"Best location! city centre and beach. Accessible to publ8c transport but everything is walkable. Very clean however the AC is quite not enough for the room to get cool enough during the day. Price abasolutely good for the budget it includes breakfast for 2.Me and my son are not that fussy with breakfast so the food choices was ok for us. Staff are helpful but can do with a liitle improvement with cimmunication. This female staff who doesn't look like a staff as she was not wearing a staff uniform. She was on a casual clothes with loads of jewelries and was very friendly to all the spanish speaking guess when I arrived at the breakfast room. Said to me "what are you doing?" I was actually waiting for the kitchen staff who at that time was very busy inside the kitchen as I can see him from the little window ...I did not mind waiting at all but the female staff could have said "how can I help you or can i help you? instead of saying what are you doing?? sounded rurde. Told her i am going to ask for more cups! but place location and cleanliness wise I highly recommend the hotel."

"A little bit dirty, nothing special. Bathroom floor/bathtub was a little bit dirty and the wall in the bedroom where the air conditioner switch is. You will need to get a taxi/uber to get around as there is no grocery shops near by only quite expensive restaurants. Also at the hotel there is only a buffet type of restaurant that is around 17 euros per adult and 12 euros for child which is quite expensive. The hotel does not allow you to get food from outside the hotel. Also our bed sheets smelled a bit weird."

"Wow great find! Stayed for one night passing through , excellent value, very clean, comfy bed and sound nights sleep. Great place to stay as Hostal Pensimar is a little off the beaten track, that is the charm of this place. Lots of buses and taxis if you dont have a car. The small town of L'Altet where the hostal is has a friendly feel , the locals "Buenos Dias " that I was greated with on lots of occasions was fab. The guys who run this family business are genuine, friendly and helpful I was very impressed. Would stay here again if in the area. Did not hear the airplanes at the airport when inside the hostal but outside I did, this did not bother me at all."
