This property recently changed over to a self-catering rental with four options: two small pavilions in the back, and the main house which can be rented as two bedrooms or (I think) four. We took two bedrooms in the house. Charlotte, the owner, was very responsive by email and sent clear directions for checkin and checkout. There are helpful menus and activity suggestions in the entry hall. She booked our whale cruise tickets for us, so we could pick them up on arrival in town. The front lounge faces the harbour with wall-to-wall windows. The bedrooms are spotless, with modern decor (so modern, it took me a while to figure out how to operate the shower). We did not use the kitchen much, as there are too many great restaurants in town, but it is huge and well equipped. Previous parking problems have been resolved, as there are now spaces in a neighbour’s yard as well as spots for each pavilion. It’s definitely a bit of a climb up the front steps, and the microbrasserie on the ground floor can certainly be heard in the evenings as others mention. But it was very convenient to the beach and docks, and a short walk to lovely restaurants and boutiques.

Charlotte made Pavillion 2 available to us at the last minute, and it was SO much nicer than the two motels we had dropped by earlier. The room was spacious, chic, quiet and well-equipped. Parking was a breeze and the shower was the nicest I've ever been in! We were a 10 second walk from the seafront (where we saw Minke whales from the Pointe de L'Islet trail) and just a few minutes from some nice restaurants. Thank you, we will be back!

We stayed in a 2 bedrooms house at La Merveilleuse and will recommand to friends as everything was perfect ! The house itself, tastefully decorated, very well located, comfortable, quiet. Also a very helpful owner who helped us book a cruise and gave us great advices of where to go and what to do.

House is AWESOME with nice sea view.

This auberge is a great location 5/5 but there are some issues.... The price point was very dear especially when we had mediocre accommodations. We stayed in the sudio: no wifi as advertised, our hot water bathroom tap didn't work DURING the COVID pandemic which is unacceptable and we had to dispute getting a fre breakfast served to us even though it was advertised. The location is also nestled between a pub and a brewery. I heard the clanking of a patio umbrella all night long. There is a lack of accommodations in Tadoussac so it is slim pickings.
