Good hotel with large rooms. Clean and ordinary. Good, rich breakfast. There is even marmelade when you ask and understand. The swimming pool is a blessing at the heat in spring and summer. Filling mid-May, if you ask also something earlier. Location on a very driven street, so rooms forward loudly. I could switch out after a night into a quiet room, no problem, you just have to ask. Location in a few distances from the center. To the next Metro Station at least 20 minutes walk. Buss drive out before the house, but I never tried. Taxi to the center ca.2€. Totally recommended.

However in the morning on the second day, a hotel staff suddenly informed me that they were fully booked and I could not be accommodated anymore, but everything was under confirmed status according to my booking. I was trying to argue with the guy, unfortunately he doesn’t speak English. So I contacted Trip.com service team. After a complicated process of communication, I had to check out and looked for a new hotel instead, compensation was granted. Thanks to the service agent, she did really hard to assist me all the way when I was in a big trouble. Credit was given to the service agent, not to the hotel.

Checking in was a nightmare I booked the hotel to stay 2 night before flying back to London. I checked in with my new wife as we just got married and the hotel reception demanded that we need a marriage certificate to stay at their hotel as my wife was Uzbekistan citizens and me being Uk. The reception was very rude unhelpful and even I was telling them that I am with my wife they didn’t want to check me in I found this very upsetting as I said if my girlfriend or female friend, wife was another nationality they won’t ask me for anything after talking to some fake managers that came to the reception they had to make so many phone calls to some places and after 45 minutes of waiting at the reception desk finally they checked us in was terrible no apologies was offered from 4-5 staff that had dealt with us 2 we’re supposed to be management which am not sure I feel they lied. I wasn’t happy at all with this from such a large hotel chain which I have used them in other locations. Room was good sized clean but service in general was poor for such a new hotel. Even morning breakfast staff no one ever said good morning or anything. There was no security at the front door ever when we came in or left the hotel to see local tourists attractions. Avoid the bar too expensive and cocktails weren’t great head to local restaurants for cheaper drinks. It’s a shame I can’t rate the service less than 1 stars if I could I would rate the service 0 stars. We stayed at the Wyndham in Tashkent as well with my wife didn’t have issues and staff there were fantastic.
