Great location right in the beach front.
Amazing rooms, nice and spacious.
Facilities of the hotel could do with an update/deep clean such as the pool area.
Checkin staff didnโt arrive until 14.20 so we were waiting around for them.
Overall, great stay and would definitely stay again.

We loved pur stay at Ika Nui. The pool was out of service at that time. The location is very handy and had the most complete kitchen we have ever stayed at!

Great location. Easy walk in to town and opposite Lake Taupo. Check in was late, as they were still cleaning when we arrived at 2pm. Room stunk of bleach when we checked in.
Bed was comfortable and the room was well provisioned.
Manager was friendly and accommodating.

The room was quite clean, but they said there was no cleaning service due to the pandemic, so you can do it yourself. Overall it was good. It has a lake view and is close to various places to eat, which is very convenient.

It was great to stay in Taupo Ikanui during a great trip with my son. It was located in front of Lake Taupo, so it was nice to take a walk around the lake. The staff at the front desk was also really friendly. However, I was a little disappointed that it was a bit cold when I went to bed in the evening. Considering the winter weather these days, it would be better if you prepare a thicker and warmer blanket.
