The location is excelent, very close to the beach and nor far from comercial areas, like Carmel Market. But it does not disturb the night and I could sleep very well. Good bed and shower and very clean. There are many restaurants very close (specialy because the beach is the most touristy area in Tel Aviv). The main problem for me is that the hotel don't provide breakfast, so in the morning you have to find some place to eat and, at least for me, the closest options were not very attractive. Considering that Tel Aviv is an expensive city, this hotel has a good value for money.

The location is excellent, close to the beach and restaurants. I was tested Covid-19 positive upon arrival so we had to check out of the hotel only after a couple of nights and into an isolation shelter. We had booked a week. The hotel was indeed very generous and gave us a credit for the nights we had booked but could not stay there.

considering that tel aviv is VERY expensive, don't expect motel-6. having said that, yes, the prices are better than reasonable, the rooms are clean and adequate, the staff is without doubt the highlight. brilliant location (check out the dimsum around the corner) - a no-frils place to set your head down after a day in israel's metropolis.

The staff was helpful. David was great and very friendly. The room was small, but adequate and met our needs.

A clean and comfortable hotel. Our main issue is with the parking - there was none and we had to drive several blocks to find public parking. The receptionist had no idea where we might find parking.

3 minutes walk form the beach, excellent Tel Aviv location with easy access to the main roads and attractions (including Carmel Market and Yaffo), staff friendly and pragmatic, room was ok. My only issue was that I had understood the Gilgal offered breakfast in the rooftop, one of the main reasons I had chosen it. Yet there was no breakfast and the rooftop was closed. Luckily there are many good options for breakfast in the neighbourhood.

We have stayed at the Gilgal many times in the past and have always enjoyed the location, the friendly staff and convenience. Those things have not changed. However, what has become a problem was the cleanliness of the rooms, the shower leaked onto the floor in the bathroom and hall way in all three of the rooms that we stayed in. Also, the website states there is breakfast available and that is not true. They no longer have the breakfast and it is still advertised. We chose to stay at the Gilgal this visit due to the convenience of the breakfast. This is not good advertising for ******* or the Gilgal. Many, including my husband and I, were disappointed.

One reason we chose this hotel was they advertised parking availability. There is none. The hotel is difficult to access by car in a congested neighborhood. Rooms are fine, but the AC cycled off every couple of hours, waking us up when the room got too warm. Overall a "so-so" stay.

You will be happy, if you choose to stay here. Clean nice rooms, friendly helpful staff with no exception, awesome location, good vibes, cozy lobby area with tasty coffee. Book ASAP, you’ll definitely enjoy!

Huge disappointment as it was not cleaned (did not get cleaning any of the three days we stayed there, one due to Sabbath which was ok), it needed renovation and was too expensive for the quality.

Staff - very helpful and obliging. After asking for one - had what was probably the quietest room in Tel Aviv (a very noisy city). Room is basic but well maintained. Bathroom - very modern. Lobby - spacious and pleasant. Hotel location - about 200 meters from the beach promenade.

A pandemia atrapalhou muito. O cafe da manha da reserva nao tinha. O restaurante esta fechado. Continua constando estacionamento no apo mas o hotel nao oferece. Poucos funcionários. A localização e excelente. Mas esta estadia deixou a desejar. Em 2018 foi muito melhor. Onsite precisa atualizar as condicoes do hotel urgente. Sem cafe da manha e sem estacionamento.
